The staff were fantastic. Room was nice and clean. Large grassy area to walk your dog. Overall very pleased with the accommodations.

We had a good stay (2 nights) with our daughter and our dog. Very convenient for access to the start of the AT. Lots of shopping and eating nearby. Our dog was welcomed and enjoyed his stay. Only downside was that the rooms could have been cleaner.

The hotel is old and faded. Plenty of grass to walk the dog. Evening clerk snapped at me to take my "pitbull" out the backdoor. My dog is a lab/shepherd mix, obviously not a pit bull. However, a male guest standing at the desk admonished and corrected her, she did apologize but it was unexpected and rude. Everyone else was warm and welcoming to us.

The manager was very kind to us in our time of need. Another hotel chain refused to our dogs even though the website started that they did. They took our money and refused to give it back. This hotel manager accepted yes and was very kind, when our dogs freaked out and barked up a storm when we went to get food. We came right back and all was better.
