Guests with pets must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a pet and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties.Both dogs and cats are accepted, and well-behaved pets may be left unattended in rooms. The Country Inn and Suites Savannah I-95 North is approximately four miles from the Savannah airport and about eight miles from Savannah's popular Riverstreet shops and restaurants. For onsite recreation guests can enjoy swimming in the indoor pool and relaxing in the whirlpool. A complimentary continental breakfast with is included in the room rate. The hotel also offers a meeting room copy and fax service complimentary parking and an airport shuttle. Complimentary transportation to the Savannah airport is available daily from 8am-8pm (advance notice is required). There are 61 suites including some whirlpool suites on three floors. Both non-smoking rooms and rooms equipped for the physically challenged are available upon request. Standard amenities include one king-size or two queen-size beds hairdryer iron ironing board telephone mini-refrigerator microwave television and telephone.

    Musty

    Clean, convenient to I-95, no decent eateries nearby. Breakfast daily at 6:00 am but 6:30 on weekends :( Room was clean but had a terrible, musty odor. Area seemed safe. Interaction with staff was cordial.

    Price was right

    Price was right, staff was friendly, beds were very comfortable, waffles were awesome but I wouldn’t stay there again. The smell in the room was literally nauseating. Assuming it’s the rugs that pets have relieved themselves on and need to be pulled up and burned! As I write this review, I’m in a different Comfort Inn in Fredericksburg, VA that has wood floors and there is no odor at all.

    Better this time

    We have stayed at their hotel with our dog several times. We usually end up with first floor rooms. We were given a 2nd floor room this time but the AC unit was not working. They moved us to 3rd floor and room was much better. The first floor rooms are pretty rough.

    Great location plenty of restaurants in the area!

    I would definitely stay there again. The room was very clean! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

    Just ok

    Room was just ok. Toilet seat was so loose it moved all over when sitting on it. Also there were a few flying bugs in bedroom n bath. I made front desk aware of this when I left. I know during covid things are different but those brown bags grab n go breakfasts were horrible. Maybe we should have been given a cheaper room rate due to the lousy breakfast.

    Room smelled awful

    We have stayed in this establishment several times. The location is convenient, staff has always been friendly and helpful—as they were this time. But the “pet friendly room” has never smelled so badly of urine. It was almost unbearable. We will be looking for a new place to stay on our next trip through Savannah.

    Wonderful check in and clean room. Second time staying there. Easy on and off 95 in Georgia.

    Hard To Find - Not Worth The Effort

    Our room was. 1970’s Harvest Gold nightmare. The carpet had stains and a stand-alone dehumidifier was humming right inside the door as was the air conditioning. A chat with the desk clerk who said that all the rooms had dehumidifier...and noted that made the rooms smell good. The beds were quite firm, but at 4 am the dehumidifier started flashing a bright light signifying the water tank was full and I had no choice but to empty it.... needless to say I was not happy! In the morning I spoke with the desk clerk who said he could not offer any remediation, but I could talk to the manager when he arrives at about 11 o’clock. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait around for three hours...so I left as an unhappy customer. If the room we were given was an example of pet friendly, I’d suggest they try harder.

    Nice Hotel for the Money

    The front desk was very friendly and glad to help with a pet friendly room. I was told to always call ahead for pet friendly rooms. They only have limited rooms for pets. The room was clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel is okay for walking the dog.

    Nice, new hotel

    Stayed 1 night on our way home to VA from FL. Nice and clean overall. Only draw back was the faint smell of urine in our king size bed room. It was localized to 1 spot on carpet so I’m not sure how much work was done to remove it. The room was on the first floor close to an exit, which was helpful. I would stay at this hotel again but would prefer to try another room.
