We have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 5 years. It has never been great but it was at least an affordable option. Upon our last visit we found the room to be beyond what we would consider dirty. We wrote it off to you get what you pay for. Then upon having a medical emergency the facility manager was the rudest individual we have ever encountered in the service industry. This is saying a lot. Not only did we receive insulting treatment we witnessed the same to other guests. It was obvious that staff members were intimidated by this individual as well. My hopes are that Wyndham will read this review, terminate this individual and close down this facility until it can be properly cleaned and furniture that is extremely stained and saturated be replaced.

The room was dingy and dirty. There were cigarette burns (several) in the bath tub. The bathroom sink counter has permanent dirt spots and hair in the sink.

The room was dirty (carpet was filthy) and smelled like cigarettes. We were very unhappy with our experience there.

First, they checked me in to a dirty room. No sheets, towels, toilet paper…etc. Trash cans overflowing. I had to clean my own room upon check in basically. They gave me what I needed. The ceiling was pealing off with water stains underneath. All the furniture was stained And I didn’t want to sit on it much less touch it. Put me up on second floor with two dogs in an inside room versus one on the outside which would’ve been much easier!

After a two week trip through the south and staying at Red Roof Inns thought we would give this a try. What a mistake that was. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It maybe pet friendly but there are far better places for you and your pet to stay. Carpets were stained and the place was just awful. All the other places we stayed with our dog didn't have carpet and we're clean this place was not. Not even for a discount rate go somewhere else!

Air conditioner didn't work so they had to move us to another room that I'm pretty sure was not cleaned. Blood-stained sheet on one of the beds and hair in the corners of the bathroom.

OK, it is an older hotel, but the room was clean, and the TV, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge all worked. And I can't say enough about the staff. Tam, Dale, Harvey, and the manager were wonderful! My husband was transported to the hospital in Savannah. I was not familiar with the area, and they were most helpful getting me and my dog settled.

About 15 min East of I-95. Staff were pleasant, but hotel was dated and worn. Has open riser steps to second floor, needed to carry geriatric dog up to room b/c no elevator. Suggest requesting ground floor room.

Very disappointing stay. We booked a king suite, -- bedroom with a king size bed and a separate living room space. The furniture was too dirty to sit on and in fact one chair that looked stable fell in when we tried to sit down. The carpet was old and dirty. No water pressure in the shower. The lighting was awful. Will not stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone

This place is beyond disgusting. We had the “suite” and it was filthy, not vacuumed, tv in the bedroom is broken and covered in filth, ceiling fan is broken, thermostat is broken, and the door frames have piles of filth sitting on top of them. If La Quinta corporate saw this I think they’d pull the franchise.

Liked that we could park just in front of our door. And the room was a good size. Although this is an older hotel, it was just fine as far as we're concerned.

The room did smell faintly of pee but I had Lysol and air freshener so it wasn’t overpowering. Some stains in the carpet but it’s a cheap hotel that allows pets. Overall clean room, no bugs, free breakfast. It was a 1 night stay, I wasn’t looking to spend a lot for something fancy.

I should have read the reviews on Fido before I booked. We requested a non-smoking room and quickly realized people had smoked in the room- both my dog and I have allergies and are sensitive to smoke. As someone mentioned they are quick to sellout (weird but true) so no other room was available. We suffered through with a toilet that ran all night, 5 tv stations, no face cloths only hand towels & body towels, and the fear of bedbugs from suspicious spots on the extra bed. By far the worst La Quinta we’ve stayed at so far and the staff don’t wear masks even though Wyndham’s policy says the staff would in public places.

They ran out of keys, so if you lost a key you would have to have front desk person go to room to unlock it, taking up a lot of time. But room was clean, a decent location, about a 10-15 minute drive to historic visit. Props to BringFido, this hotel was $40 cheaper on BringFido than on all the other travel sites and even Wyndham website.

Horrible horrible horrible. They overbooked and didn’t say anything until we arrived. At that time they simply said they didn’t have anything and gave me a cancel receipt. They had ZERO customer service or even offered to help. When we circled around the property they had very few cars even on property.

Have already called the concierge of BringFido....the inn was subpar ....dirty, no tv switcher,no phone (?).....looked like a room in a low part of time. They brought a tv switcher...not good service. We asked to leave and they refused to refund our $!

Our room was not very nice. We reserved a king but ended up with 2 doubles. Dirty clothes on back of bathroom door and food left in the refrigerator from previous person so was not properly cleaned

Even though it was a non smoking room, room smelled and you could smell weed all along the exterior doors on the second floor. We stayed two nights, and room was not cleaned, we needed to ask for TP. You get what you pay for.

Unlike other La Quintas that I've stayed at, this location is a disaster. Although the front desk clerk was very nice, the room was dirty, the TV did not work, only one light fixture was operable, there was only one bath towel in the room, and the breakfast was junk. Only the desk clerk was on duty, so there was no one to address any of these issues. The guest below me lifted her bedspread and found crumbs and liquid stains. Obviously the sheets were not changed in preparation of her arrival. This location should be removed.

Some very questionable people hanging around the buildings made us concerned leaving the room and visiting the downtown. I have stayed here multiple times in the past without issue, but I think next trip I will look for other options.

We’ve stayed at this location a couple of times. It’s conveniently located within about a 15 minute drive to down town and prices are very reasonable. I’ve had one room that was pretty gross (obviously a designated pet room) and one that was slightly cleaner. The bedding is clean. I bring my dogs’ beds so they aren’t laying on the floor. The breakfast isn’t anything to talk up, but it’s free. There’s plenty of room to walk the dogs outside the hotel!
