    Great location

Very pet friendly hotel. No extra charge for 2 dogs on the room. For us the most important no size restrictions, we are traveling with our 66 lb and 122 lb dogs. Forsyth Park you just have to cross the street. Park is awesome always shaded by the old trees. Great location to stay with dogs.

    Needs amenities

They don’t make it easy. We understand staffing issues, but they don’t have room service, coffee or breakfast service. Staff was friendly but need amenities back that should be available at a hotel of this caliber.

    Pawfect Stay

We were greeted with excellent care from the moment we arrived. Our little Maltese was treated well by the staff and hotel guests! He’s well-behaved (and well dressed-lol). We sat in the lounge area and had a glass of wine with a Charcuterie board without any issues. Oh, and our room was beautiful. Very romantic, very Savannah, very Kessler! Highly recommend!

    Nice hotel and location, overcharged

The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly man who parked our car using valet ($34/night) and delivered our bags to our room. Our dog received a bowl, toy, and treats. We were able to bring him everywhere with us in the hotel. Our dog is mostly quiet and we always make sure to be with him. However, there were other dog families who left their dogs alone for a few hours and we were left to hear the contact barking which upset our dog, since they put all dog families near one another. Then there was an incident where they didn’t allow my DoorDash delivery. Finally, they double-charged the $150 pet fee. We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and it cost over $1000. It is a nice hotel and it was a nice visit, but it wasn’t worth that price point. Luckily, they did say they’re returning the extra $150 pet fee charge.

    Beautiful, friendly, park location

This hotel is gorgeous to start. My dog received treats, pats and was even welcome in the bar/lounge. We had drinks and appetizers while she sat with us. Best part, Mansion sits directly across from Forsyth Park (the “Central Park” of Savannah). We walked it for pee breaks, but also to sight see and exercise. It was nice to have a drive out front to park briefly and unload, unlike some small BnB’s. We’ll be back. What a gem!

    Great stay, very pet friendly

Everyone was so nice to my pooch. Even welcome in the restaurant at the hotel. Old Savannah Tours stop at the corner, also pet friendly.

Fabulous hotel in one of America’s most charming cities

If you haven’t been to Savannah: go! Walk around the historic center, eat she-crab soup at Chive or a more traditional Savannah mainstay (the Olde Pink House springs to mind), and have a wonderful time. The Mansion on Forsyth Park is hip, creative, comfortable, well run and well maintained, and it’s location right on Forsyth Park makes it super convenient for travelers with well behaved dogs. Bonus: sigh up for an Oliver Bentley’s dog walking history tour to wear out your pup, get exercise for yourself, while learning some Savannah history.

    Mansion Marvelous

My 6 year old Pitbull named Xena was treated with respect and admiration overload. She was always greeted with sensory overload and offered treats. The park was conveniently located across the street. I would definitely stay here again. Was clean and the beds were extremely comfy!

    Super Dog Friendly Place

We stayed there with our 8 month old puppy and had a great experience. The rooms are huge and everyone on the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great too. Forsyth park is just across the street, which is very convenient to take your dog potty or for a play.
