  Wonderful stay

  Staff so friendly, our pup got a doggie gift bag at check in. Room was clean and spacious would absolutely come back.

  Outstanding Pet Friendly Hotel

  Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for a place to stay with your dog. A gentleman greeted us when we arrived at the entrance. He assisted us with our bags, showed us where to park and showed us to our room. Our dog was given a gift bag filled with perfect choices for the stay - a ball, treats from a local dog biscuit bakery and waste bags (our little dog sniffed out a bonus ball under the bed!). We stayed in a King Suite. The room was charming, spacious and clean with easy access to outside for dog walks. Other dogs were friendly and well behaved (human guests too). All staff were exceptional. The hotel is perfectly located on the riverwalk with many shops and restaurants. Easy in/out parking was close by.

  Welcoming staff, very helpful (Mika and Kevin). Very nice room in a great location. They left dog treats and dog toys in the room, and a couple Klondike bars in the freezer (for us, not the dogs!). Highly recommend!

  Loved the hotel. It was beautiful, clean and Remy, the dog, had a welcome package. There’s a large grass area right out front for the dog to potty. We will 100% be staying there again. Great hotel

  we had a great stay. The suite is quite large and the location is perfect. The staff is beyond helpful and engaging. Really care about your stay and your pup. This is a historic inn so it’s not soundproof but it was perfect for us. The complimentary wine and snacks, all day bottled water and soft drinks and dog amenities are just bonus perks that add to your stay

  Wonderful Hotel

  Staff was welcoming. Puppy welcome kit was great. Klondike bars in the room freezer and many areas to walk the dog around the hotel and River. Room beautifully appointed and spacious. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

  Visit Annually - We Love OHI

  We stay here with our pooch every Christmas. They provide a doggie bag at check-in filled items like locally-made dog treats, toys, waste bags, and a listing of dog-friendly activities and restaurants. The dog-friendly rooms are located on basement level but your view is of the riverfront which is pretty. The rooms also have kitchenettes complete with refrigerators. Dogs cannot be in the lobby/dining area but you are welcome to leave your pup in your room unattended if you need to go somewhere without him. They offer special "do not disturb" door signs so that staff know you are not there but your dog is inside. There is a large grass area that is street-level for your dog to do his business. For us humans, we love the wine & cheese hour each evening and the ice cream treats they leave in your freezer at turn-down service. Breakfast is an additional fee and buffet-style. The only thing that could be a negative is that the walls seem a little thin and you can sometimes hear dogs in other rooms & footsteps from above floor. If you are a light sleeper, or if your pup gets riled up from hearing other dogs barking, this may not be the best option. Otherwise, they are super dog-friendly and the location is perfect.

  Such a great stop!!

  There is a pet charge of 50.00 but far worth it. The unit was large with a living area and separate bedroom as well as a park next to it. Would go there again

  Old Inn - Mildew Odor

  The Inn was pretty and they did everything to accommodate myself and the dog. However, after a few minutes, the smell of mildew was overwhelming. My dog started to itch. There was nothing they could be. Its a very old inn and the pet rooms are in the lowest (basement) level. Those rooms should not even be rented out. I stayed the night.

  Love the location, love the room, love the decor. Very pet friendly and I would absolutely choose this hotel again next time we travel to Savannah with or without pets.
