        Great location!

Room was clean when we arrived and dogs were very welcome here. Only hiccup we had was getting towels the second day. We were out of the room for hours in the morning with the dogs and the room was not serviced. But this location on Bay Street is close to River Street and within a 15 minute walk of most walking tour departure points.

        Love Dogs!!

Always welcoming to our boxer, Maddy. They have a welcome bag with a fold up water bowl, a clip on doggy waste bag dispenser with a roll of bags, and multiple gourmet dog treats, pumpkin flavor to be exact (which Maddy loved). Very clean and staff are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful!! The only thing was being Sunday there was no parking attendant in the garage and had to pay an additional $10, after paying a parking fee for the hotel costing $30 to park the car one night. Have been to this hotel many times and will definitely go back, never disappointed!

        Too expensive for my taste.

I thought the location of the hotel was fantastic. My dog did very well for one night. The room was way nicer than I expected, and I loved being on the first floor; however, one of the beds clearly had not been cleaned well when we got there. There was debris and a few fleas on the bed (thank god for flea collars). Staff was fine, and I appreciated the coffee and breakfast, but the additional fees they tack on are ridiculous. What’s the point of a $75 pet fee if they’re going to charge you a $25 additional cleaning fee (which clearly isn’t utilized)? I booked the place through booking.com and it listed $196.97 as the price, I walked away paying $316.97. Highway robbery! Other than that, the stay was fine. They gave me a welcome back with poop bags and a travel water dish. Would rather keep my $75 though.

        Robbed at gunpoint!!!!!!

We stayed here over a busy holiday weekend with our two dogs. We were set to stay 2 nights but on the first night I walked out to my truck that was parked in the lot behind hotel (literally in the first spot by the hotel) to grab a few items out of the bed of the truck it was 9:45 when two men came up behind me and pointed a gun to my head. They stole my personal belongings and my truck. Luckily there was another couple that were staying in the same hotel so I could get back into hotel without my key. The lady at front desk dialed 911 and handed me the phone that was about all the help I got from anyone at the hotel. There was no manager on duty and no one from the hotel offered any kind of apology or even empathy. One lady even got angry that she had to keep buzzing police into the hotel! Obliviously we did not feel safe staying another night in this hotel so the next morning we told the people at the front desk we would be checking out and did not want to be charged for the $20 a day parking or canceling they said they had to call a manager and were again unempathetic. Seriously disappointed to say the least!!! Be aware this hotel has no security cameras or security guards and are completely unconcerned about the safety of their guests!!!!

        Awesome

We stayed at Staybridge Suites Savannah for one night but we felt so welcomed by his hotel especially our dog. The first they asked was if we had our "pet friend" with us and gave us treats for him. The staff at this hotel are really friendly and courteous; even trying to help our dog from being so nervous about the elevator. We highly recommend this hotel if you are bringing your dog with you. :)

        location location

Stayed here during Savannah Marathon. Very pet friendly and staff was awesome.
Rooms are ok but dated. If you have a pet of course the room you get had pets before and your pet will know that lol.

        Great Place to Stay

We stayed for three days, the staff was awesome and courteous. They took good care of us and our dog, we saw many well behaved pooches and made every effort to make sure my wife and our dog Benny were comfortable.

        Enjoyed our stay

For a hotel that accepts pets, very nice and clean. Rooms nothing special but definitely met our needs and walking distance to most things. Only complaint was the limited parking. Be aware that deck has 6'8" clearance and will not support most larger cars with roof storage.

        excellent in every way

We stayed here for several nights on our way home from Florida, and could not be happier! This is an extremely well run hotel. Comfortable bedding, spotlessly clean, friendly enthusiastic staff. We all felt welcome here. There is a huge park across the street. It is in the Historic District within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend!

        Pet Tolerant

We chose this hotel during our first wedding anniversary trip (even thought it is a bit pricey for us) because it was pet friendly and in a good location. I wish we had stayed elsewhere. They advertise as a pet friendly hotel, but just because you allow pets does not make you pet friendly. They have a small block of rooms that they allow dogs to stay in, all of which are on the first floor, in the middle of the hotel, with no outside windows. We were assigned the very first room, so basically when you walk through the lobby, there is our room. Very difficult to try to keep a dog quiet through the night with all of the noise. In addition, we were right next to the stairs which the employees were slamming the door to all night long. So we got no sleep. My husband complained the next day and asked to be moved and the woman at the desk said they only had one other dog friendly room coming available, next to the elevator and service access to the hotel. In addition if we moved, they would recharge the pet fee. Pretty terrible customer service.

In addition, as said previously, the in room wifi is terrible/non-existent. The A/C is extremely loud, we actually used it to try to drown out the noise hotel!

We were very unsatisfied with this hotel and the fact that the people at the front desk were not willing to do anything about it. Very poor customer service. This was our first stay at a Staybridge and we will never make that mistake again.

        Love Savannah

We loved our stay here. They couldn't have been more friendly to our dogs. The room was big and had a full kitchen if we wanted to cook. The continental breakfast is great and the managers reception in the evening was fabulous. Savannah was such a great town to visit and walk the dogs. If I had one negative it would be the $75 fee for the dogs was a little high compared to other hotels but the amenities made it worth it. We can't wait to go back.

        Super Clean, Great Location

My husband, our Italian Greyhound and I loved the wonderful location of the Staybridge. I appreciated the cleanliness, and our pup felt welcome at this dog-friendly hotel. We also enjoyed the friendly service - we are likely to return with the pup!

        Great location, very pet friendly

We stayed here for one night as a stopover on our way to HHI, SC. I am very picky about hotel cleanliness for my family, including my dogs! After searching for hours, I decided on the Staybridge. I was very happy with the hotel, it's location, and how pet friendly it was. My pets were welcomed by everyone and were happy to trot through the lobby on their way to our room. The room was clean, the location was excellent, and the hotel staff were all super friendly and accommodating. I would definetly stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to others.

        We all felt welcomed!

Great location -- for both sightseeing and dogs -- plenty of green space nearby, including a park a block away suitable for throwing a ball. The staff could not have been nicer. This was our first trip with our dog and he was not happy when we tried to leave him in the room. One of the women at the front desk immediately gave us a list of dog friendly restaurants within walking distance. All hotel staff were obviously used to having dog visitors and were very comfortable around ours -- providing us with tips, like the aforementioned park. It was our first stop during our Thanksgiving trip and a wonderful way to start. The mini kitchen was a great bonus.

        Dog Gone Good

Perfect place for the dog. The room was comfortable and dog friendly and the park on the river was a great place to walk the dog. The hotel location is very convenient to anywhere you want to go in the historic district. Service was friendly and breakfast was good, too.

        Great stay in Savannah

Location was fantastic, hotel staff was great, room was very clean and easy to get in and out of, dog park behind hotel, and great place to walk along the river. Would definitely stay there again.

        Stylin' Dog on Bay St!

Georgians are prone to loving bulldogs, but the staff here was especially lovely to Deuce. In addition the free breakfasts and happy hours are excellent. Best location for the money!

        Great room even better location

The hotel was awesome, we were treated well, the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was as good as you can get. All of the good restaurants and clubs were within a block or two of our hotel. The room was huge, and extremely clean, the stove, dishwasher and full sized refridgerator was absolutely perfect for a night in. We are already planning another trip and would not stay anywhere else but Staybridge Suites Historic District in Savannah.

        Nice and Homey

Great location, we arrived early (12:30pm) and they gave us an awesome room, noproblem. Yes the pedisal sink leaves no space to put your toilettries. Bring a haning attaché case ladies. Dogs are not allowed to sit/linger with their owners in the main common area due to health code. Little bit of a bummer especialy when people are stopping me to talk about my dog and asking to pet her. All in all I would go back and recomend it.

        Just what we needed

They were great. Had plenty of dog-friendly information around Savannah and a fantastic recommendation for dinner. The room was suitable, though the lack of view was unfortunate. Overall, it was an easy place to stay and the staff was great. And our dog liked it!

Hotel pretty good, Service could be a little better

Room was great for the price & location. Was not really aware that the room had a full kitchen to work with. Check-in was great with hotel giving us one of the 1st clean rooms available as we had arrived earlier than expected. Desk clerk advised us correctly that we had probably 99% chance Paula Deen's restaurant would not let us in and it was true. Only thing to mar visit was a desk clerk that informed us at 8:30 AM next morning as we walked past with our Corgi to go outside that the room next door had complained at 6:30 he was barking. He was in bed sleeping with me on the bed at that time so I was incredulous. When we returned home in the evening we had a call on voice mail from hotel about it and the time stamp was 6:38 PM day before. Seems that personnel should pay attention to the memos they are left from another shift before accosting paying guests about something. It probably did happen because we were out trying to get dinner at the restaurant but this happened on a floor reserved for animals? and there were at least 3 other rooms becuse I saw the owners walking their dogs with me! Decent buffet breakfast but waffle machine was broken and they were trying to clean up someone's mess and NEVER did get them to bring a spoon for the sausage gravy. Guess 7:30 AM on Sundays is a little early for them.

        Wonderful place, great location

We will definitely stay here again - the hotel was very nice, and the staff was very friendly. We loved the location - right across from River Street.

        great location

Excellent location for walking the squares and River st., pet policy accurately described. "The boys" (a beagle and whippet) were treated well, and walking them was easy with the great green areas in the neighborhood (Please scoop). The pet friendly coffee shop on Bull st. was also excellent.

        great

Great people, great place, great room, and great food!!! The breakfast bar was a nice treat to start the day, and they also have a sundowners bar tues-thur! I would definately return! Only downer was our room was beside a exit and people leaving at night was annoying.. but highly recommend!! my dog Daisy loved the people!! very dog friendly,.. even gave her a treat!

        they dont clean the floors

This hotel is nice, right beside river street and on bay street. I guess everything has some down falls because my 8 month old yorkie found a pill on the ground at night and we had to rush him to the vet. after paying a $75 pet fee i had to pay $160 to get his stomache pumped and other things. if u go here check ur floors.

        Great place, good location

Being on East Bay Street, the location of the hotel was very conducive to walking. The pet policy was also accurate. And the staff were very courteous. There is a one time $75 non-refundable pet fee for small-medium pets. I don't think many people are aware of the pet policy, because our dog was the only pet we saw during our stay.

The king studio suite was very nice, with a mini kitchen, coffee maker, and even a toaster. It was arranged well for maximum comfort and adequate walking space even though it was small. The bathroom was a little small, but only because the sink was not part of the doored bathroom.

The breakfast buffet was a great inclusion too. Nothing too fancy, but they had a great array of breakfast choices. Overall I would definitely bring my dog here again :-)
