  Nice place to stop!

  We stopped here on our return home to SWFL. Friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are clean with microwave and refrigerator and are what you would expect at this price point. They do not have a hot breakfast but offer pre-packaged oatmeal and pastries along with coffee and tea. For a more substantial breakfast, there is an IHOP across the parking lot which is where my husband ate. Nice place per my husband. There were no problems accommodating our Bichon and there was a grassy area to walk her. There are several restaurants close by that have outdoor seating and accept dogs.

  Was clean but it was super noisy. Upstairs guests sounded like they were literally slamming doors and jumping up and down. Very busy after 10PM. Not a lot of green spaces to walk your dogs. I did have a room close to a door and was on ground floor so easy to walk my dogs. I literally needed a place to sleep overnight while we continued our trip. Not sure I would stay here again. Carpet in the hallway was disgusting & hotel floor was sticky (laminate flooring). Remember you get what you pay for. If I had paid $20 more I could have stayed at a different place. Close to interstate & lots of towels. TV was an extremely old flat screen.

  Cheap dog fee

  $10 fee per dog was nice and price was decent. Hotel is older with updated linens and wall art in the rooms. Staff was very friendly and made sure the coffee and pastries were well stocked. If you are looking for a 1 night cheap stay without any frills this is your spot. Nice area next to pool to walk your dogs.

  Room was very clean and staff was friendly. No elevator and hall rugs were dirty but again, room was very clean.

  Room had wall damage but noticed owners trying to repair/paint walls. No grassy areas for dog. Had to use small parking lot islands for pet use. Only stayed 1 night so was acceptable.

  Basic Hotel

  A typical Super 8. Bed was fair. Inside was passably clean but outdated and in need of repair. Outside of hotel was dirty and unkept. Not much area to walk dog other than the parking lot.

  Price is right

  Kind of a run down facility but the dogs and I spent a peaceful night there and everything worked. There were a few more amenities than the La Quinta I stayed at the night before, like drinking cups and Kleenex dispenser. Downside was the free breakfast was not offered even by 7:15am and we had to leave with a stop at Starbucks.

  I chose this hotel even with the reviews thinking that maybe since having a bad review posted they would have upped their game but I was wrong. The price was appealing and the fact that the rooms did not open onto the street factored into my decision to book a room here. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, despite it being a non smoking room and there was visible gunk around the lamp bases beside the bed. even one of the towels appeared to be dirty (probably stained but why not one wonder?!) if I was not traveling alone with two dogs at night I would not have hesitated to run when I saw the sign posted at the lobby entrance - “no vacancy for locals” - that should have been an indicator of the situation. not sure why they can’t keep a hotel clean. there was absolutely no indication that anything had been cleaned let alone sanitized (Covid-19)
  despite the fact that no employee I saw wore a mask, The gentleman who worked the night shift named Alan was very nice and tried to make me feel better by saying that they were training new cleaning people. and the woman who checked me upon my arrival was nice too. I arrived after dark and left in the dark as soon as I had a couple of hours of sleep. I even skipped the shower. just wanted to go. also the side entrance door did not close and lock unless you pulled it shut so not the most safe and secure place I have seen.
  I had to wash my hair at my next destination because it smelled like cigarettes. yuck. too bad. I hate leaving bad reviews but I would never stay there again.

  Gross Smell

  The clean and comfy bed was all this place had going for it. There was a strong odor in our room which was a mixture of urine and some type of cleaning agent possibly used in attempt to cover it. Our dog refused to be on the floor, eat, or drink while in the room. After returning from a walk in the morning, the smell was renewed and I wanted to vomit/couldn't get out of there quick enough. Urine soaked carpet does not belong in a "pet friendly" room.

  Great location, clean and very dog friendly

  My dog is 60 lb lab and they didn’t restrict the weight of the dog allowed to stay. Front desk very nice.

  Easy access from I-75. Clean room. Inside corridors access rooms. Walking distance to dog friendly patio for dinner.

  Great Stay

  My husband and our fur babies are moving from Kentucky to Florida. We are dividing up the drive among several days. We decided to stay in Valdosta and we found this great place! They were so kind and the room was nice and clean. We have a Great Pyrenees and we sometimes have a hard time finding a place that will allow him. Definitely recommend this hotel if passing through! Also allows cats!

  Good price for a good hotel

  Our stay was comfortable, clean and friendly. My dog Tink and I needed a convenient location with a quick breakfast on our way to Tampa. This hotel was just right - inexpensive with a comfortable bed and clean. I would stay here again.
