Everyone was amazing with our 2 huskies !! Pretty much all the guests have dogs !! The rooms are super spacious & bed ( which Mandrake hogged ) was incredible!! The bedding was so comfy !! The bed was way to high for our other husky but sofa bed was perfect !! What made our stay so lovely was the staff

    Pet friendly

    Very nice hotel for passing through. They loved our dogs and gave them treats. Would stay here again.

    Great staff

    Hotel staff was wonderful, checking in was quick. Large dogs we met were all friendly. Restaurants are next door. Elevator was a new experience for my pup!

    Great location, good value

    Nice, clean room. Next to great seafood restaurant. Nice staff. Good free breakfast. Right off I-65. No complaints for an overnight stay with a big dog.

    Nice but pet floor not great

    Clean hotel until you get to 3rd (pet) floor and the hallway looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Service is poor. Some grassy areas around the property to relieve Fido -- fine for a day but the main relief area is not well maintained (pet owners more than hotel owners are to fault mostly), so you don't want to stay more than you have to.

    Motel itself was nice, workers and housekeeping staff were very friendly. Room was clean except for a strange pair of socks in the closet. I will be back.

    Dog friendly but dirty

    The staff is very friendly and gave my dog treats and even offered to watch her while I got breakfast, however the room and hallways were very dirty. They looked like they haven’t been vacuumed in quite some time. There was hair in the bathroom all over the floor, counter, shower, and also hair in the sheets. I requested an additional set of clean sheets and they were very accommodating, however gave me 1 fitted queen size sheet for the king size bed. I appreciated that the floor was wood/laminate, in case of an accident. However, they desperately needed to be swept.

    Beautiful hotel; very dog-friendly. Hot breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfy w/a shower to die for!

    Rooms Not Cleaned

    I was excited to stay at the Mobile La Quinta Hotel. It had great reviews so I thought it would be a nice stay after a full day of driving. A really nice lady checked us in and once settled I pulled the sheet back to prepare for bed. Upon close examination, I noticed that the sheets had not been changed. There was hair and dirt in the bed and the sheets and pillow cases were smudged. When I dialed hospitality, there was no answer. I learned later that hospitality is closed at night. Immediately I called the front desk. I didn’t get an answer so I walked down and spoke with the receptionist. She was very helpful and immediately moved us to the room next-door.

    I checked the bed that I was going to stay in and it was clean. Unfortunately, the bed my daughter was going to sleep in was not clean. Instead of going through the hassle all over again my daughter and I doubled up in one clean bed. Through the stay there, I realize that not only were the beds not cleaned, but there were dirty refolded towels left in the bathroom and the floors needed sweeping and the counters needed wiping. Needless to say, I will not stay with La Quinta hotels again.

    Great hotel

    The 2 bed queen room was large. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. It had floors without carpet, easy to clean if there was an accident. The TV was large with many channels. My grandson loved the pool. We will stay there again.

    Furbabies are special here

    I have multiple stays at this location and each time it is consistently great. All of the pups are on two floors of the hotel and managed quite well. This is our go to spot on our route from Florida to Texas. This is a midpoint stop on my way to Houston and each time the staff has been great and the rooms are clean and perfect for a one night stay. The front rooms tend to be more loud because they are next to the highway, so ask for a back of the building room if you need more quiet to sleep. Green space for doggies in the front and the back with baggies for poopsies! Very reasonably priced and Cleo enjoyed the Jimmy Dean Biscuit breakfast.

    Super clean and luxurious! Everything was squeaky clean. The staff is super friendly. Not sure if all La Quintas are this nice, but if we make it back through Mobile, we will definitely stay here!

    Very dirty room

    I wouldn’t even give it one bone. I thought I had to click on at least one, to do the review. My room was not cleaned, at all. There was a lube wrapper on the bedside table, used soap in the bathroom, toothpaste splashed all over the mirror in bathroom, floor was very dirty and still had dog food from the previous person everywhere, the bed smelled of a man’s cologne, countertops were dirty, shower was dirty. The name on the card said, cleaned by Precious W.

    Room was good, big bed, J at the front desk was lovely + checkout staff gave my babies lots of pets. Staying here next trip for sure.

    Mold in room

    There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Breakfast ended too early… at 9 am! On a positive note, the a/c kept the room cool and the bed was comfortable.

    Convenient for passing through

    This hotel is pet friendly. This hotel was bright and neat. The king bed room didn’t have very much floor space for dog beds but we made it work.

    Receptionists are so nice!! And the whole hotel including our room was updated and clean. Free breakfast, pool & gym.

    Great Place

    The hotel was wonderful very nice. Price was affordable. Staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing that was difficult was with two dogs we were on the 4th floor and we had to plan our times around the elevator use when there was no large crowds of people leaving etc. Waiting For elevators and having puppies that are trained but get to a point they can’t hold it makes it hard to wait for elevators which causes accidents. I totally understand that not everyone can be on a bottom floor but it would be nice if all the hotels had something on each floor that was like an outside access for your pets. But other then that the stay was great and I would most likely go back. It is near malls, restaurants, fast food places and one of the closest beaches (that we loved )was Dauphin Island and it was about 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic.

    It’s All Downhill From Here!

    The WORST La Quinta EVER! Both elevators broken, smells in hallways and overall just dirty.

    Worst experience ever!

    Check in-2 dogs and luggage-given a room on 3rd floor-beds already slept in. Went downstairs to get a new room-back to 3rd floor next room had drink cups in bathroom and on floor. TV clicker out of plasic wrapper. opened soap in shower. back downstairs to get 3rd room-sent to 4th floor. dragging a puppy and a basset hound in tow + luggage.
    Next night dogs in tow with packages, waiting for elevator. stuck on 2nd floor. Asked front desk-oh it's broken. Take the stairs! Could have put a sign on the elevator? Dragged packages, basset hound and puppy up 4 flights of stairs. On 2nd floor stairwell "kids" smoking weed. Worst experience ever. My husband may never want to travel with the dogs again! If I could give no "bones" I would!

    Staff was nice. Room was comfortable. Liked having laundry facilities and nice area for dogs to do their business. Only negative is that all access requires the elevator and one of our dogs is freaked out by elevators and by having the door open with another dog looking right at her.

    Perfect for the dogs!

    I took my two dogs with me and my boyfriend for the weekend. The rooms were nice and clean! The dogs did great! I would definitely stay again

    Great place to stay!

    We needed to stay for two different nights. Both times the rooms were nice and clean. Front office staff was very nice and helpful. There was a nice place for our dogs to relieve themselves. Overall our stay was a pleasurable experience! We will be staying there again!

    Great Hotel

    This was a very nice hotel. Room was clean. Only complaint was not very much space for the dogs to do their business, but that would not stop us from staying there again. Great place to stay!

    Nice & clean location, vinyl floors in the hotel rooms so perfect for pups, wonderful staff, and breakfast is still being served even with COVID. Loved it here and next time I pass through I will make this my stopping point again!!

    Great place!

    It was great for our furbaby! Not much grassy area for them to go potty but more than i expected from that type of area. Mostly businesses. Very nice and accommodating to us. Highly recommend

    I stayed at this location on another occasion and was satisfied with my stay. This time staying I was extremely disappointed and disgusted. I had a suite with a king bed and a sofa bed. When we arrived in the room we found fruit under the chair, garbage under the air conditioner and when my son opened the sofa sleeper there were chop sticks and food crumbs everywhere. It was disgusting. I went down to the check in desk and spoke with the clerk who was willing to help with a move but would only be able to put us in another room of the same type. I asked for a room with two beds but was told that the system would only allow her to put us in a room with another sofa sleeper. Why would I want to move all my belongings into another room with a sofa sleeper and take a chance of the same thing happening. So we cleaned up the room as best as possible and put a sheet and blanket over the couch for my son to sleep on the couch instead of using the sofa sleeper. Truly disappointed.

    5 bones for 3 1/2 star hotel

    Very clean staff very friendly. Covid breakfast options. Not a very big pet area but did the trick. Grateful they were even pet friendly. Would stay again.

    Good Stay for a Quick Stop

    Only stayed here for one night in a standard King room while driving through Mobile. Staff was friendly and polite, lobby was clean, and check-in/checkout took less than a minute. $100 price tag is a bit steep for the size of the room, and the small refrigerator did not have a freezer. No breakfast provided during COVID, which is understandable. Hand sanitizer mounts in the elevators were all empty. Shower took a full 2 minutes to get hot water but was great once it got there. No grassy spots for the dog to relieve himself but he made do with the neighboring properties. Bed was clean and comfortable, and the microwave was very much appreciated for re-heating leftovers. Would stay again but only if the price was 15-20% lower.

    We would stay again

    The hotel was relatively easy in and off I65. Not sure about the cleanliness given the hallway had a lot of litter on the floor. I used sanitizing wipes in everything when we first entered. Bed frames are metal and very squeaky. You can hear everyone else’s bed as well. Sounds like someone walking on a hard surface floor with heels all night. Doors slam shut. When will hotels figure this out?
