The Red Roof in Council Bluffs is located in a convenient spot just off the freeway, and was a quiet stay! They were friendly to my dog, and worked to get me a good room where I requested (near an exit for easy dog outing needs). The beds weren't too high, and the room was nice and clean.

Many dog-friendly hotels feel like dogs are an afterthought. Not this one. There were many dog families staying the night, the on-site dog park was nice, and there was plenty of space in the room for our dog to walk around and stretch her legs. It was an excellent experience for all of us.

Not a good section of town. Tiny rooms. Lots of dogs. Clientele really sketchy. Never had people in the next room yelling so loud and so frighteningly. Barking dogs, must have been left alone in room. Very dated. Even my dog was scared.

Lots of dog friendly grassy areas with poo bag dispensers that actually were filled with free poo bags! Very large room, which included small kitchen area, gave our 3 dogs lots of space to feel at home with us.

It’s not the Ritz and not super quiet, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. Plenty of grassy space for dogs. And as previous reviewer mentioned, so many rabbits! My dog was intrigued, lol.

Sorry if the review is long but when I book at a new place I always read reviews to help my decision. I was a bit worried that the place would be run down for the price it was offered but the room I stayed in was very nice! Though there are signs that it is worn down(normal), it was comfortable, and clean. We were placed on the second floor, it was pretty quiet, could hear people above us but not terrible loud. For someone traveling with 2 dogs, I greatly appreciate this as they can be on alert when in a new place and when they hear a lot of doors opening and closing they bark. There is a designated pet relief by the front of the building but there is plenty of places to walk and grassy areas around for your dogs too. Along with plenty of places to eat too, fast food and restaurants, also plenty of other types of stores around.

Vinyl flooring. Clean room. Beware if you have a dog that pulls - the area is loaded with rabbits. Two of my dogs pulled the leashes right out of my hands and it took about 20 minutes before they’d return. Scary, it’s right at the freeway. Easy in and out off the interstate. Breakfast was bagel, eggs, and sausages included.

This was a clean and great hotel for dogs. I assumed it would smell, be kind of dirty, and be loud all night with barking. It was anything but. Glad we found this place as we passed through town with Fido.

The room was clean, however smelled of mold. I had to buy air freshener to be able to tolerate the room smell. The pet relief area was also dirty, as in people did not pick up after their pets.

Our rental was two adults and two yellow labs. We felt the hotel was a pretty updated Red Roof Inn compared to some we have seen/stayed at. Staff was friendly, our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. There is a nice grassy area with poop bags for the dogs. The free breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. Check out was simple (leave your key in a box in the lobby). We will definitely be staying here on our next trip home from Colorado!!

The motel was on the lower end price wise, but was on-par quality-wise with mid-range hotel options. The check-in process was as easy as it gets and our room was very clean.
The only issues we had were small and could be improved easily by the hotel, like ensuring all of the toiletries and towels were restocked in our room before we arrived. We were only staying the night during a roadtrip, so we could have resolved these with the staff if we had tried.

We are traveling to the Badlands from NC and just needed a quick dog-friendly overnight. Our stay was ok. It was a clean room, micro-room, that is, looks like it was halved from another room. The bathroom door hardly shut as the laminate in both sides was coming loose. We were in a pet-friendly room but the dog-walking area was clear on the other side. We made do..

Room was spacious, 1st floor and mostly vinyl flooring. Water was leaking through the vinyl plank flooring in the bathroom and the bathroom door was delaminating. Bed was great, clean, big frig, and friendly staff. Nice dog areas outside.

Room smelled, large finger nail polish dried on bed end table. No light bulbs in other bed table with wood panels missing. Large blue stains all over the tub, personal facial tissue packet was opened. Had to sleep with windows open because of smell with large bright motel outdoor lights next to our window. Not a good experience.

Our one night stay was nice enough for one night with a family of 4 and 2 dogs. The dogs reacted to the sounds of the first floor service/laundry room all night. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Lots of grass to walk the pups around the hotel. Their favorite part was watching ALL the bunnies that came out at night as we walked the grounds.

Wow, what a clean, nice hotel with ample walking area. Very welcoming of our three dogs (and we saw someone checking in with SIX HUSKIES). Their dog friendliness was so good that I'm giving them 4 bones even though our mattress was broken down and not comfortable. We'd still stay there again in a heartbeat and hope for a different room :-)

We didn’t stay we canceled our reservation & the BringFido customer service was wonderful! This hotel is filthy, it stinks of nicotine & other indescribable odors. We’ve never been in a place so horrible before. DO NOT book a room here. It isn’t safe.

We stayed one night here and I throughly that was too much. Clean sheets at least, but there were holes in the walls and chipped paint al over the place. There was a strong smell that I do think was a combination of cleaning supplies with something else, but it was gross. Not a great location for a safe walk with the dog, was walking through very gross parking lots with a lot of trash. Would not stay here ever again.

Our experience at the hotel was really good… big, clean room, comfortable king-size bed, and it was quiet enough that our dogs settled in easily for the night. Actually getting to the hotel was a challenge though, as our navigation didn’t match up with the street/exit names. It was overall a great stay!

The hotel is right off the interstate near shopping and restaurants. Our room was not carpeted, large, clean and perfect for my large dog. The staff was friendly and easy going. There were some grassy spots between hotels for a quick pet potty break. If you're just passing through, this is a good place at a great price.
