Staff was friendly, breakfast was awesome, a pizza from Northern Lights… aaaamazing!! Rooms were comfortable and perfect for dogs. Small grassy area near the side of building.

Though there is a pet relief area outside, it is not very close to an exit. Our room was at the end of a hallway on the seventh floor, so the dog has to “hold it in” for quite some time when he needed to go. The accommodations were otherwise great.

It was truly the only room we could find while passing through Des Moines. But a complete waste of $! I think we got a total of 2 hours of sleep between the broken/loud AC, people screaming outside and running inside, doors slamming, etc. Bathtub didn’t drain, and overall place needs a huge update!

This hotel’s location was great. Overlooked the river front with a lot of walking paths and sidewalks around. Only bad thing was the hotel room itself was super old, no water pressure and tint pillows on the bed they looked like couch pillows.

Comfortable beds and pillows and decent sized room, but very old with bathroom doors that stick and loud hallways. Curtains in the room let in a ton of light, so we were up a lot earlier than planned. Breakfast was very good. No Covid guidelines followed anywhere except a couple hand sanitizers out. Prices were much higher than they should be for this hotel.

Clean towels & sheets room was nice. We got a room over looking the river & skate park, but it would have been a better view if the windows were clean. They also had a lot of young girls in for a cheerleading competition, so they were noisy for awhile. Had a lot of areas for the dog to walk and that was good.

Great location, breakfast included, had a grassy area for the dog. One downside is the doors to the rooms made an awful grinding noise every time they were opened so you could always hear the neighbor's comings and goings. The noise would set our dog off.

Quality stay at Comfort Inn just off 235 and conveniently located in next to event centers with easy access to the East Village via the Women's bridge for food and beverage. DSM not the most dog friendly city which is very disappointing, thanks to Fido app was able to find a Brewery and Coffee Shoop that understand their customers.

Nice and clean. Good room and service. Limited grass for potty breaks and elevator can be slow, so only well-housebroken pets should stay here.

Staff was friendly during check-in. They even told me how many other dogs were at the hotel at that time, as my dogs don't like other dogs. I will use this hotel again if I pass through again.
