      Needs better housekeeping

      Because we travel with our dogs, we always go to our room first to check it over before taking the dogs in. Good thing we did! We found Fritos on the floor, a piece of a plastic zip tie, 2 beer bottle caps and an unidentified pill. It also appeared that the area under the floating vanity and corners in the bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long time. On a good note, the breakfast was great and it was very quiet. Potty area for dogs is small but our dogs did fine. We did talk to the front desk about the items found in the room before brining the dogs in and they said they'd talk to housekeeping. Please check out hotel rooms anywhere you travel before taking your pets in them. This is not the first time we have found unidentified pills on the floor of a hotel room when traveling

      Very Comfortable With Dogs

      Stayed on 5/29/2020 with two dogs and everybody at the hotel was very welcoming and the small suite was very comfortable. Nice dog area in front with poop bags. The restaurant onsite has some outdoor seating but they wouldn’t take dogs, but we were able to enjoy room service. The Dubuque downtown area was dead on a Saturday night and after lots of walking couldn’t find a single dog friendly restaurant, so we chilled in the hotel.

      It was ok

      The room was small and smelled old, but for one night it was ok. The front desk staff were nice and friendly to our dogs. The neighborhood seemed a little dicey at night, but was fine during the day and we enjoyed our walk to the Farmer's Market. We didn't eat in the restaurant, so I can't provide any insight. Parking was very convenient.
