We had a quiet stay when passing through driving across country. Not a lot of grass, but a park is only about 4 minutes away, so no problem! The room was clean and quiet. Not at all fancy, but all we need is somewhere clean, quiet, and safe to sleep on our way through. This was perfect for us!

OMG the room was wonderful. Sunny windowsill for my cat to sit on and see outside. Very comfortable for us humans as well.

This place was just OK to stay at. We did an overnight with our dog. There was no pet area to speak of and no place to really place the dog waste you picked up. The smoke alarm in one of the rooms chirped all night. We told the front desk but no one fixed it so all night long we kept hearing it. The place is being remodeled and some of the rooms had plastic sheets sort of hanging on the outside of them. Not pretty and sort of creepy looking. A sign should be posted if guests are to know that work is being done in the place, otherwise it was a mess.

Like a lot of pet friendly hotels along the I-90 corridor (SC is a bit south but still) the main issue is the hotel needs a renovation. That said, accommodations were nice- street noise was a little loud but quieted down by about 10 or so. Lots of road or other manual labor crews were staying but they were polite, respectful, and quiet. Hard working dudes just relaxing after a long day outside the motel but they gave us 0 problems. Young man who worked the front desk (originally from Florida) was very nice. Only real negative was a heavy cigarette smoke smell in our rooms. One of those where the room probably used to be a smokers room and they will have to replace the carpet, drapes, everything, to get the smell out. But- was clean and worked great. There are a couple other options In SC but this was great for one night and the price, all things considered

This is just a down home working man’s motel with no pretenses but they welcome dogs and have a green space across the street (Sertoma Club Park) to walk your best friend.

Michael and the rest of the staff made us feel comfortable and welcome as did our clean room. Would definitely stay again!
