La Quinta Boise Square was great for our overnight in Boise. Updated rooms. Gave us an early check-in. Handmade breakfast in the morning was delish, esp the mini waffles! Would stay again when traveling through Boise.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The hallways were very clean. Bed was comfortable. We were disappointed that the room stunk as soon as you walked in. The carpets must of had a few accidents and they tried to mask it with deodorizer. Not sure I would stay there again.

When we arrived, the room smelled like feces. There was a large stain under the desk as well. We did alert the front desk, and they acknowledged awareness of the stain but did not offer a resolution. Unfortunately we did not feel particularly safe here - there were some people camped out in the parking lot all evening under the hatch of a minivan. That was odd to say the least. Breakfast was good though.

Lovely, quiet, unscented room. Dog friendly staff. Well-kept, big, grassy area surrounds the motel. Early breakfast with healthy options. Not my favorite part of Boise but as we were just passing through this place was perfect.

Hotel is pretty run down, at least on the floor I was on. Everything seemed like it was in need of a major refresh. For the price and pet fee, I rather stay at a nicer hotel like Hampton.

Clean rooms and very nice staff. We had two rooms and each of us had cats. We stayed for two days. Would definitely recommend.

The La Quinta was in a great location. Very new and clean. We walked our pup around the mall and there was a lot of green grass to play fetch in. Bonus tip was Edge Brewing down the road. Good dog friendly patio to sip a yummy brew and have dinner. Would definitely recommend staying here with your dog if you are in Boise.

Seems like a local hangout. Loud, people smoking in the halls. It was clean though!

Walls and doors are very very thin. We had to contact the front desk several times about a loud neighbor and it took forever to get resolved. We were also near the elevator so that contributed to the noise issue. Also someone jammed the lock on the side door so it stayed open which isn’t safe (I fixed it twice) and in the morning when I checked out and told the front desk what happened all night they said there was nothing they could do about it because we booked through a different website. Don’t go to this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel twice. It was good enough to make reservations for our return trip. Lots of green grass for the pup. Breakfast wasn’t very good, but we brought our own cereal. Clean and comfortable accommodations for the humans at a reasonable price.

Great Staff, Super Friendly. Hotel was clean and rooms are nice and have a fridge and microwave. Awesome pool for the kids and lots of grass for the dogs. Breakfast, free wifi & NO Pet Fee. Lots to do within walking distance.
