My Pitbull and I stayed here visiting family in the area. The room was big and everyone was very friendly. Location was very convenient for walking downtown Boise and there’s a pet relief area in the parking lot; no bags and scattered with poop, but thankfully there were other grassy areas to use.

Place is really outdated. Sheets were dirty, bathroom was dirty, TV and AC didn’t work.

Chris at the front desk was super capable and got us squared away, though the booking apparently had an issue. The room was clean and spacious. The bed mattress was a bit lumpy but passable. The view in room 665 was fantastic, looking at the mountains. breakfast was nothing interesting, but hot things were indeed hot. The coffee was flavorless and weak at that. The public areas need a lot of TLC and updating, but clearly the rooms are getting all that, for now.

The hotel was OK but nothing special. They charged $20 per pet per night, so for our two dogs we paid $40 extra per night. The "pet area" was neglected and full of dog poop. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Our stay was quite gratifying to our 11 month old Great Dane. The lovely lady at the counter (Heather) was very helpful and accommodating. We appreciate her help, and our stay at the Red Lion hotel was extremely pleasant and comfortable. Thank you Heather and the rest of the Red Lion staff.

This hotel was great for me and my dog, in a central location. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean enough with LVT, which I prefer to carpet. The bed was pretty lumpy and chair was old and kind of dirty.
