Were hesitant to give me a first-floor room to accommodate dogs.

After a bit of conversation, the front desk gave us a room on the first floor instead of the third floor. It was a perfect room and our stay was smooth. The facilities for our dog was handy and having breakfast provided every morning was welcome. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Really loved this location and hotel. We got a king bed and the room was huge for our sweet pup. If we needed to it would have been ok to leave him alone, but we didn’t. Pool, hot tub and gym were open 24 hrs which is nice. Room was clean and the bed was very comfy.

We recently drove from FL to WA with our 2 pugs and stayed in 6 hotels. I waited until the trip was done to write reviews so that I could compare. This was by far the best hotel of the trip. We arrived early and luckily the very friendly desk staff was able to check us in. That gave us extra time to explore Couer D’Alene. The room was the biggest one we’d had with lots of room for the pugs to run around and play. Their outdoor area to walk the pups was also the biggest and nicest grass we had seen all week. Just go to the front end of the hotel and walk up the tiny hill and there is a lot space up there to walk around. The water pressure in the shower was great and they also had the best towels of the week. The complimentary breakfast was the normal stuff along with pancakes and sausage. It was a great place to stay for our last night of a long road trip!

The hotel and staff were good, no issues there. The only problem was being on the 4th floor. Dogs and elevators are not a good mix. Any where else I've been, dogs are only on the ground floor, heads up about this would be nice. My dogs have never been on stairs and would not go near them.

Perfect stay for us and our 2 dogs. The large kitchenette area was nice for our dogs to lie on the tile after a long hike on Tubbs Hill. The location was accessible and super easy to take the dogs out for a potty break and exercise.

It is rare that I give a review that isn’t glowing but I have to warn my fellow travelers…One word for this place. GROSS. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt due to the hotel being understaffed and by appearances is run by very young girls with no actual managerial support whatsoever. At least on the day that I was there. My first sign was arriving at 4:30 to no room available. 5:30 in room that has no AC, it is 109 degrees out and the room is a literal oven at 89 degrees. I asked housekeeper to help with AC and she snapped back with a “oh that room doesn’t have AC, didn’t the front desk tell you?” And proceeded to have attitude about the fact that she is only a housekeeper that is all. Don’t kill the messenger. Housekeeping is talking loudly about the 29 rooms they have yet to clean. Makes me nervous, are these beds being stripped and remade?
Got new room and it smells of baby powder spray to mask puke or something likely worse. The drain is clogged and there are mystery stains on the walls. The elevators look like they haven’t been cleaned since June of 2020, there was a blob of someone’s sandwich on the floor for hours. Poop smeared all over the one and only bathroom next to the pool. I’m scared to touch anything. The exterior isn’t any better. The garbages are over flowing, no bags for dog waste, seedy people changing license plates, beer cans strewn around vehicles, guys chain smoking cigs (I hope?) on the side of the hotel with no shirts on. Steer clear of this place. There has to be better options in this town. It is just truly Gross in every way imaginable.

Great staff, room and stay. Back of hotel has some traffic noise. Tricky to get to the parking lot, but worth it. Definitely would stay again.

Room was very nice. No complaints. We were on the 3rd floor and furthest room from elevator. Inconvenient to get dogs out for potty breaks.

Check in chaos...Gave us the key to an occupied room...YIKES! Nice roomy suite at reasonable cost. Clean. No great place to walk the dogs. Stay on 4th floor for quieter stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The motel and the room were clean and comfortable. It was not too far (10min) from the city center, but far enough to not be in as busy of an area as if it had been downtown. Access to I-90 was a cinch. My dog Oreo and I would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta Inn in Coeur d'Alene. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom and entryway were tiled in wood-look tile. We placed our cat's litter box in this front area and the tile made it very easy to sweep up any spilled litter. The check-in process was easy and all the staff were cheerful and helpful. We also loved the breakfast offered at this hotel, which was of a much better quality than what a lot of hotel chains offer. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing through Coeur d'Alene with a pet!

Building, rooms, breakfast was all fabulous. I've stayed at other La Quentas and wish they were as nice. Our little dog Lily was very comfortable at this location. It had lots of grassy areas, but make sure you bring your own dog poop bags!

We stayed 5 days, so we got a suite. The room as clean and the staff vey helpful. Furniture was dog friendly. There was plenty of room for 2 large crates in the bedroom. Potty areas were small islands of grass in the parking lot, but had bags. There are 3 dog parks nearby.
