We travel through Idaho Falls frequently and haven't found a great place to accommodate us and our little dog. We finally found it. We will always stay here when we are coming through town. The backyard and river are a beautiful place to walk. The restaurant looks nice (it was closed the day we were there, but they had us order off the menu for the included breakfast and it was fantastic-not like those prepackaged danish and waffles most places provide). The room was large and clean. The location was convenient right off the freeway, and yet very quiet. We were very happy!

Right on the river with lots of areas to walk the dog with grassy areas. Older hotel but clean and breakfast off of a menu rather than the typical icky breakfast bars of other hotels. Would stay again.

I gave this 5 bones as the room is huge. The big plus is you are on the Snake River walkway. Great place to do a mile plus walk with your dog!

The hotel is a little dated but kept up very well. The room was very large clean and the bed was very comfortable. We came in late afternoon and was able to get something to eat for dinner in the lounge which was very convenient. We were close to the exit which overlooked the river which was nice with plenty of grass for our dog. The breakfast next morning in the restaurant was decent since it came with the stay. I would stay here again when in Idaho Falls.

Room was clean and nice. Only issue was at check in, I had selected a king size bed when I booked, when I got to check in the king room available was on the second floor, which you know is a bit of a pain with pets. When I asked if they could just put me in a Queen room on the main floor I was told that couldn’t happen, even though they were the same rate, because I had booked thru a third party. Bizarre. I’m sure more helpful receptionist at the desk would have gladly made the change. I’ve stayed here several times and it always been good.

I have really mixed feelings about this hotel. We are on a long road trip with our pup so have paid everything from $99 per night to $170 for this hotel. For that price I would have liked a room and property that were less rundown. (Did they give us a “tired” room because we had a dog?) The parking lot were rough and the exterior doors were filthy. The laundry room had a broken dryer that ate my money. The front desk gave me a refund but had no interest in learning which dryer was broken or sending someone to fix it. All that said, there were some really good things about this hotel. The room was clean. My favorite was the slider out to a grassy lawn on a canal and a beautiful walking trail that goes on for miles. The room had a mini kitchen, couch and desk area and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice dog park close by. Bottom line: it was very expensive for the quality compared to other properties we have stayed in but it was very convenient.
