  Staying at La Quinta's tends to always be a safe bet and this one followed that rule. Room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of surrounding area to walk my 4-legged buddy, on and off-leash.

  Filthy rugs!

  They put us in a filthy rug covered room that smelled like urine. Had to make sure to wear our shoes. The other patrons apparently let their dogs do whatever.

  We had an amazing stay here. Their rooms are very spacious and there are several spots outside with nice grass areas for the dogs. We would definitely stay here again. They also allowed 3 dogs. 5 paws up!!

  You get what you pay for

  While I appreciate a hotel that will accept our three large dogs, the rooms and grounds are not taken care of. The beds are horrible and there’s poop everywhere outside. It also seems that the hotel puts all of the dogs into one wing of the hotel so anytime someone would walk down the hallway, a chorus of dogs would sing.

  Didn’t honor no Pet Fee

  Reservation made in March with a No pet fee policy. Upon arrival in April was informed there was a $20 pet charge. They would not honor the booking. BringFido offered to reimburse fee. This was a corporate policy, not the individual hotel but apparently they didn’t have the authority to waive the fee.

  Nice Room

  The room was nice, only complaint was both times we stayed here we got a room higher up and it was a pain to go up and down with our dog to go out and potty. Wish we could get a room on the ground floor!!!

  Great Location but a major letdown

  Our room was beautiful. However, the grounds where animals were supposed to relieve themselves was appalling. Dog poop everywhere from the sidewalk to the parking lot under trees just everywhere. It was difficult to not step into a pile of poop. I understand there has been a significant amount of snow, however, I feel that if customers are not going to be respectful and clean up after their pets then they should be assessed a substantial fee for the ability to keep their pets with them. This extra money would allow the facility to hire staff to clean up dog poop that lazy people refuse to do.

  Our room was spacious (room for a crate and dog beds) and clean, and close to a door to the pet walk area. The bed was super comfy. We didn’t check out the breakfast.

  This hotel was clean, spacious, had a good free breakfast, allowed our two 80+ lb dogs to stay for free, had a nice pet area outside. Staff was very friendly, price was great too. Would definitely stay here again.

  Always accommodating for my 3 dogs and I. They consistently place me near an exit where the pet bathroom area is making it easy for me to get in and out without toting my boys all over. Staff is friendly and professional, room was very clean.

  Comfortable and inviting

  Wonderful staff, location and accommodations however the rooms are carpeted and clearly have has their share of doggie accidents. Being a dog owner, we understood and were forgiving but the smell was quite strong and perhaps tiled or linoleum floors would be better. Would stay here again.

  Good hotel for the price if you like feather pillows

  Had no issues with regard to the pet stay. The hotel did not have fiberfill pillows though (or down alternative). They said their order was messed up and they received all down feather pillows so they literally had nothing other than down. I am extremely allergic to down. They should have posted this on their website. I had to sleep without a pillow and change my own bedsheets with fresh sheets, because they were busy. This is not acceptable, even if you are busy. I woke up with swollen eyes, coughed most of the night, and had trouble taking deep breaths in the morning. I would have moved to another hotel had I not had my pets with me.

  Worth all five bones!!

  Day 3 into our travels and this was a refreshing change to the other places we have stayed. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, with all amenities and surprisingly large. Plenty of convenient parking and luggage racks.

  Stayed here with our pup on a long road trip. Good location, great staff at the front desk. At 8am they were trying to clean our room, but we didn't put out our do not disturb sign, so, our bad. Comfortable bed, which is the only thing I need.

  Great Stay!

  From the moment we arrived we felt welcome!
  The front desk staff were extraordinary! Cheerful & helpful, they changed our original room reservation to a ground floor room, accommodating us better.
  At check-in we were offered a map to a local dog park (also a 5 bone review!). We were informed of the drink offerings in the lobby for purchase & told of the time for the morning breakfast.
  Our room (#130) was clean and surprisingly quite large!
  Breakfast was standard hotel fair but the service was above and beyond!
  Our only cons:
  1) Very limited dog walking & grassy space surrounding the the building. There is a fair amount of open hard space, i.e., parking area with a side walk in front of a busy main road to exercise your dog. I recommend if you have 30 min. or more, go to Baxter’s Dog Park.
  2) We prefer a composite floor vs carpet in our room... easier to sanitize & our dogs don’t spend the first 30 minutes we are there sniffing the floor. Next time La Quinta upgrades the rooms this would be our vote.
  All said, this La Quinta and all it’s employees earn a Five Bone review and we would return here again.

  The room was clean and when we had an issue with the heat they moved us right away. We stayed on our way back also. They had a large pet area, but it was right by the busy road. Not a huge deal but noisy.

  Have stayed at this La Quinta multiple times because in the past it’s been relatively clean and dog friendly with good rates, but this lass time the room wasn’t cleaned well as there was a dirty towel with a fresh stain. Not confidence inspiring given the COVID era and having higher expectations for cleanliness.

  Stress free wonderful stay

  We had such a nice time, we extended our stay at La Quinta in Twin Falls. The room was spacious, the hotel is lovely, the bed is comfortable and everything is squeaky clean. We really had a nice time and plan to come back here again in the spring on our way up to Yellowstone.

  The room was gross. The carpet was stained everywhere. The room they put you when you have a pet is on the ground floor near the exit so its really loud. I didn't get great sleep at all. Overall, not recommended

  Easy, fast and friendly check-in. Good outdoor doggie location. However room was not clean. Dusty around TV. Noticeable carpets spots and bad stain on bed mattress. Would have requested different room, but long travel day. Disappointing during these times.

  Front desk staff was really friendly - welcomed my big guy with a dog treat - and they had saved a room away from the elevators and at the end of a hall, just as I had requested on my reservation. Room was clean and comfortable, and outside area for dogs was clean and convenient. Parking was easy. 5 bones.

  I wish I knew the name of the woman who checked me in. She was awesome. The room was super clean, comfortable and quiet. I was happy to be on the first floor not far from the door to the parking lot. All great for walking the dog! We enjoyed it and would stay there again.

  clean, comfy for humans and pets

  Staff is very friendly and welcomed our pup with a tasty biscuit and a snuggle which he loved. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Our pup had fun trotting down the long hallways sniffing along the way which gave him lots of enjoyment. There is a small grass area at one end of the hotel along the street where dogs can relieve themselves. There is a dog waste station there but the bags were so flimsy I ended up using my own. The grassy area does not get cleaned up very often I think, there were plenty of 'land mines' so keep your eyes on the ground where you're walking and take an LED flashlight because it's not well-lit in the dark. That being said we will definitely stay here again when we come through this area next time -- it is quiet, spacious and comfortable, plenty of restaurant options nearby, gas, and the staff is very pet-friendly.

  You gotta hand it to La Quinta, they love dogs. And the newer ones are excellent, down to the vinyl floors instead of icky carpet. This LaQuinta is not a newer one. The staff were great, even when I had to inform them at 2300 that the heat wasn't working in the room. They offered to move me but I elected for a couple of blankets and my furbaby's warmth. The place is simply worn out - the mattress was soft and like a trampoline. Every time my dog moved I felt I was bouncing all over. The pillows were lumpy and small, the carpet was rippled in the middle...I suspect financial margins are thin in the hotel trade, but this one needs a serious refresh or it will lose business.

  La Quinta Inn in twin Falls is clearly operated by animal lovers. Every LQ associate we encountered pleasantly greeted us & our pups. Occasionally, despite being well-traveled, our dogs are nervous in new places & one of them may let out a woof when people are pushing carts or carrying equipment. This was laughed off & the person (cleaning lady) made a point to greet her & make her relax. There was plenty of grassy area & disposals with bags. Don’t wait until the last minute to go for your complimentary breakfast. They had begun clearing up & removing items about 15 minutes before ‘breakfast hours’ elapsed.
