  Decent Property at a Good Price

  The manager on duty was very helpful finding a place to park our vehicle attached to a UHaul 8' trailer.
  The property was well maintained in the common area and the room carpets were freshly cleaned. The room and bath were clean. There were health inspection warnings about the swimming pool but they had outside contractors working on it so the problem wasn't being ignored. The breakfast was standard and well prepared but no waffles! We go through Champaign/Urbana twice a year and this will be a regular stop for us!

  Acceptable hotel for road trip

  The hotel has a massive field behind it where I was able to play with my dog. The hallways and carpets were a bit dirtier than preferred but the rooms were comfortable. We had a good night's sleep before leaving the next morning.

  Dirty rooms

  Good location but hotel is old and a bit shabby. Tub did not drain. First room they put us in was not cleaned. Second room was made up but not real clean.

  Hotel needs renovations

  Room was nice, but hotel needs repairs (some are underway). No elevator, which was a challenge getting everything upstairs. No good area for walking the dogs. Evening staff was nice, morning staff not friendly.

  Ten-minute drive from main restaurant strip. Room could use more outlets for computer, etc.

  Clean and quiet

  Hotel was great (plush beds, good breakfast). Small issue: We were a walk-in and the hotel wouldn’t match the app. Once we booked using the app, it took 20 min for the system to sync. Also, front desk did not provide a wifi code and when I tried to call the desk, the room phone didn’t work. Small inconvenience but overall great stay.

  Good room in quiet hotel

  This was a good pet hotel! he pool was out my window but it looked like the sewer had back up in it. Overall I would give it this rating for a room that was well groomed but needed a little TLC. Chipped and dirty trim and the sinks and toilet drained exceedingly slow.

  Not great

  They didn't ask for phone number even though it was on check-in. There were two dogs barking all night. Don't know if owners were there or out. Don't plan on staying there again

  Older hotel and few amenities

  Thin walls and dingy room with a super tiny bathroom. Not much healthy to pick from at breakfast and no treats or anything for the pup.

  Very nice

  Met all the requirements of a good stay. Clean, safe, friendly staff, easy access outside & continental breakfast. Even though there is a Panera and Bob Evans right next to the property, the breakfast looked appealing (checked it out merely for the reviews). Would stay again if passing through again!

  Convenient location

  Easy to get to, good location with restaurants, Costco, shopping, etc across the street. Sidewalks for walking dogs and plenty of grassy areas. Decent size rooms which have been remodeled. Will keep this hotel in mind for the future.

  Convenient Location

  Located just off the highway we were traveling, we had access to restaurants and shopping. The hotel has been renovated and updated, possibly still in progress. The room was clean, amenities very nice, bed comfortable. We booked online so checking in was a breeze, staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again and would recommend it to others.

  Older motel remodeled

  I want to say first that the staff was great. The room was freshly painted and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom/shower area was cramped, the carpeting needed to be replaced, and the A/C unit smelled damp and moldy. Everything just not quite up to La Quinta normal standards.

  I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Everything was great! Easy check in, no problem with the dogs, and it was SUPER clean.

  Showing its age…

  An older style hotel that had some maintenance issues. Broken a/c, empty vending machines, insufficient parking. Ok from the dogs perspective. Potty area close and parking was close.

  The place was clean and close to restaurants. We used their order-in service and it was quick and easy! We will definitely stay here again if passing through.

  Good Location

  The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. I would give 4 stars but there was an outer hallway door that could not look. The front desk said they couldn’t fix the door until warmer weather. The hotel was in a good location, clean and the front desk people were excellent. COVID is so hard on the hospitality industry, it’s too bad there weren’t more guests.

  Do not stay here

  I spent the last weekend at this place. It was under construction and the lock on my door didn't work but I figured that was taken into account given the low price of the room. After returning home, I was looking at my bank balance and found I was charged an additional $250!!! Yes, $250. I called the motel and was told that it was a carpet cleaning charge. This is absurd. And I am disputing it. But buyer beware.

  Great stay at La Quinta

  The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Appropriate precautions were in place for dealing with the pandemic. Our room was perfect - easy access to the dog walking area. The hotel is located close to restaurants and stores and is conveniently close to Champaign and Urbana. Great place to stay with your pets.

  Great rooms, great price, wonderful staff

  We booked a suite for slightly more than the single rooms and had a couch for the dogs to enjoy and a wonderfully big room for the same price as a lot of other hotels and no dog fee or size limit.

  We just started traveling with our dogs so we are still getting the hang of how to manage them and going out, we had them in kennels in the room while getting dinner, the front desk had to call about their barking :/ we have hounds so I am sure it was annoying to any who would have to listen, we happened to be pulling in when they called but they were still so nice about it, we apologized but I still felt bad that they even had to call. We’re starting to get the hang of traveling with the doggos though.

  But overall a wonderful hotel with clean large rooms. Very friendly staff even when faced with loud hound doggies.

  Night clerk was very nice and helpful. Morning clerk was not friendly at all. Motel was old. Hall carpets were stained and dirty. Paint peeling on outside of buildings. Room was clean.

  Clean, quiet, and friendly

  Very nice and accommodating staff! Stopped here to ride out a bad storm and slept comfortably with our 2 labs. The place was clean and quiet. We were put on the first floor for our convenience. I will definitely stay here again in the future

  A smoking tower at entrance door by our room, which was also right at the window to our room. Smell and noise was not pleasant, all night. Too bad, staff was very nice and welcoming.

  This place was amazing

  They were very accommodating. Put us on the bottom floor near the exit. Easy for taking the dogs out for a walk. They were perfectly fine with us leaving them in kennels if we had to leave without them. They were simply wonderful!! We will definitely stay here again.

  Great stop for a long road trip

  We rolled in with our two Golden Retrievers at 11pm after a 17 hour marathon...check in was quick and smooth, 1st floor room was clean and smelled clean, bed was comfy and night was quiet, even with a full hotel. We did not take time for breakfast but appreciated the friendly no pet fee and a good nights sleep. We will stay again and recommend it to other travelers with dogs...

  Would Recommend!

  We stayed here 1 night with our 2 large breed Alaskan malamutes on our cross country relocation drive. We found the room clean, neat with a extra area outside the shower area of hard surfacing that was nice for food / water bowls to stay down. The ac was functioning well and nice sidewalk and grass area to walk the dogs for potty breaks and a poop bag station as well! There was a TGIF easy to walk to for dining that had a patio outside but we didn’t try it. We used complimentary restaurant meal surface from a nearby place and dined in the room which worked well for us after our 750 car ride that day. Easy access to places around at this location. Panera Bread and a mall across the street.
