Our room was near an outside door and dog walking area. I wish the room had hard flooring rather than carpet. Perhaps the hotel could do this for their pet friendly rooms. This is an older hotel but well maintained. Staff was friendly. A McAllister’s Deli next door, but for other food you’ll need to drive. Would stay again with our three dogs.

We were traveling across the country with our little boy and 2 labs in August 2023. The pros: the hotel was really easy to get to, a ton of parking, (we were pulling a small uhaul and we didn’t want to navigate parking inside a big city), morning breakfast had good variety, free bottled water in lobby, a lot of grass around the hotel to walk the dogs, and a big dog park 5 minutes away with a big & small dog areas. Dog park location is at Evergreen Park. We had to ask people at the park how to get to the dog area, it is a little hard to find, back behind a baseball field area. Our dogs won’t go #2 on leash so we have to find off leash places.
Cons: our room smelled strongly of dog urine, hotel is older, we felt it was a bit overpriced for the size/ condition of the room but we weren’t charged extra for our dogs due to their size etc. Grass areas around the hotel have quite a bit of trash near the forest areas and a good amount of dog poop in some areas as irresponsible owners don’t pick up. Be careful your pup doesn’t eat something in the grass areas. Overall, decent stay and we were very grateful a hotel would allow our big fur babies.

After 8 nights in 8 different hotels this one turned out to be top notch. Great access, helpful staff, comfortable room, nice pool and hot soaking tub (jets were broken). Happy to give this one 5 bones. 🤗👍🤗

Driving across the country with two ~45 lb dogs - this was a perfect stop. Easy check in, clean rooms, accessible luggage carts, super friendly staff (with great dog treats). There was easy access to green space (and poop bags) all around the outside of the parking lot. Really accessible to I-70 but pretty quiet despite that. Would absolutely stay here again.

This was a good stop, with facilities including dog treats on arrival, and should you want it, complimentary drinks and an attended breakfast in the morning. I was able to use a functioning car charger (note, there is only one), and the setting of the hotel means there is enough grassy space to take the dog for a reasonable trot in the morning. The Delta Inn delivered on everything they said they would, so no complaints.

Room was on the first floor, and so had easy access for our dog to get outside. Lots of grassy areas to walk and for the most part people cleaned up after their dogs. Bags are provided by the hotel which is helpful. All around the hotel is well lit. There are sidewalks nearby on the main street for a longer walk in a mixed business/residential area. Beds were very comfortable, and hotel was quiet even though filled to capacity.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room! Everything we needed was right there for us to use. The location was great with easy access to walk our dog. The breakfast choices were good however the warming server was not working and food had to be microwaved...but that really wasn't a problem. They also offered bags to go with a nice variety in them. The only thing that was a disappointment was the amount of noise. We could hear people adjacent to us talking until 4:30 in the morning...it did wake us. Aside from that, we would recommend this hotel as a good, clean choice for a stayover in your travels.

We spotted this hotel off the highway in Effingham and decided to stop for the night. We liked that it was easily seen from the highway and convenient. The room was standard and clean but most importantly, the bedding was was comfortable! They accepted pets for a modest price and any discounts such as AAA or AARP or military discounts will help to give some additional savings. Breakfast is served daily at 7 daily and checkout at noon which is nice for those who would like to sleep in a bit longer from the road. The parking lot was well lit with ample areas to walk your furry ones :). The hallways to the room were also well lit and appeared clean that I admired. There were many places to choose for dine in or take out close by and access to petrol stations as well

This is one of the cleanest, quietest, friendliest pet hotels we have ever stayed at (and that’s a lot). There is a deli right next door, close to I-57 etc. Would highly recommend this hotel even if you don’t have a pet.

Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Pointed out the dog treats they offered. The room was clean and fresh smelling. Beds were very comfortable.

We Decided to stay at this hotel instead of another chain due to the availability of hot breakfast options but it definitely worked out! The rooms were clean and comfortable with convenient access outdoors. The pet fee was only $15. In addition to hot breakfast, there was also a happy hour available. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely stop here again!
