We slept in an unclean bed, a guest with a dog before us had weeded on the bed and the staff did not change. This means that we were exposed to the virus if the customer had it. We notified the staff and there was no reaction, not even a sorry!

Room was gorgeous, beds cozy and soft, nice espresso machine, bit farther from airport than I thought and shuttle was not running-cab was expensive

The hotel is not too far from the airport and although there is no park to walk the dog, the area is green and big enough to walk with your dog. The con is that there is absolutely no supermarket nearby. You have to take a taxi or uber to find one.

We end up in a room with stains on the floor and on the sofa! The hotel was simply full of BS from our arrival up to the departure. We asked for the free shuttle to the airport to be delayed by only 30 minutes if we were the only people on it at that time (07:30pm). We were told it was not possible because other clients were also taking the same shuttle...Nobody turned up! I asked the driver to check with the front desk...We were told the 'other' party had cancelled! The front desk (woman) was REALLY not friendly, not professional and did not care at all about our pets. Our stay was really not pleasant. We will NEVER go back to this hotel. Not recommended for pet owners...Not recommended for human beings! From now on, I'd rather pay a fee for my pets and get a real service...In fact, we were charged for it but allegedly it is free for pets to stay there!!

No issues with the dog, but just a general review: interactions with the staff were not terribly friendly. There was an issue with the A/C and we had to push to get them to fix it. They tried to leave it as "there's no maintenance staff until tomorrow, so sorry". Wasn't until I asked for another room that the manager came and got it fixed. Other than that the room was nice and very quiet considering the location next to the highway (convenient location). We didn't hear the traffic at all.

Safe Stay: Novotel Montreal Aeroport has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the ALLSAFE (Accor Hotels) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests.
