Turned out they didn't have me down for a dog-friendly room. That was settled. The entrance area was in chaos with boxes and linens and things - OK, someone called in sick; it was an off day. Then there was the fire alarm in the wee hours. On the other hand, the outside area for dogs is pretty large, and the pup was happy with that.

After reading reviews about exceptional receptions for dogs, we were disappointed. That was not our experience. Staff was efficient, but not exceptional. Hotel is getting a little tired, but kind of expected that for the price. There was a nice area to walk the dog, and the side door made it easy to get in and out without going through the lobby. Overall, adequate for a one night stay.

We were greeted on checkin by Michael (the General Manager) and made to feel welcome right away. I went in by myself to register, and Michael told me to be sure and come by the front desk with our dog. It turns out he is a dog lover and was happy to meet our greyhound and even show my wife and me photos of his dog.
It's a nice hotel in a very convenient location, and we highly recommend it to our fellow BringFido friends!

The Comfort Inn was clean and convenient. The best part was they greeted Abby by name. They also put us in a room at the end of the hall close to the side exit, and there was an awesome grassy area.
