  We needed a first floor, carpeted access room for our senior dog, who had issues walking. The front desk person reassigned us a room that would be good for our old girl.

  Awesome Stay

  Our stay was just awesome. We needed to check in earlier than the original check-in time and they accommodated. The stay was great! Thanks Vickie for being a wonderful host.

  Minutes to highway. Safe area. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel and Perkins. Room was clean. Breakfast okay.

  Very nice

  They were very kind to us, sympathetic to our being tired and agitated from being down the road for over an hour trying to get a room. Did all they could to make sure we were settled in a room and had what we needed. Apologized to us even though they had no part in it.

  Friendly staff

  Stayed while traveling for Thanksgiving. Staff was very friendly. Lots of grassy areas around hotel. Great breakfast. Clean and quiet.

  The room is nice and the staff here is very friendly and helpful. We are getting work done on our RV which is why we are in Elkhart IN. When the repairs took longer than expected they were very helpful and had no problem extending our stay.

  The hotel is directly off the interstate, making it very easy to access. Check-in was very easy with a friendly manager. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The property is surrounded by grassy areas, making it nice for walking dogs. The hotel was not too busy when we were there and was very quiet at night. The breakfast was standard and served in a pleasant and clean environment. The hotel was well maintained. It was a nice comfortable place to stay on our trip cross country.

  The whole stay was wonderful! Friendly staff, a big grassy area for the dogs, nice rooms. It was a little noisy in the halls but only early in the night, otherwise it was quiet enough that the dogs didn’t notice any noise. Would definitely stay there again.

  It was great!

  I was traveling alone with my two dogs. The hotel was easily reached from the interstate - and in an area that felt safe. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Costs were reasonable with the first dog being free and the second at $20. Room rate was also reasonable. Breakfast was available - not exciting but I can’t complain as there was no cost. Overall, I would highly recommend.

  Dog friendly and friendly staff. No sound damping - you can hear guests above you, below you, and next to you. Air conditioning was not working during our stay.

  Nice place for overnight stay. Wasn’t sure what to expect from a place that accepts animals. La Quinta Inns are better than many people-only places!

  Great hotel for our overnight while traveling with our dog! Very dog friendly, nice clean room. No pet fee for first dog! Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend!

  We stayed here during a road trip and were hopeful since the building was relatively new, but we’re sorely disappointed. The entire second floor smelled of urine, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart, one of the beds had no pillows, and the Wi-Fi was inaccessible from our room. Then to top it off, I received a $50 charge after we checked out claiming we stole two pillows (which were missing when we got to the room). I ended up arguing with the manager before she found a maintenance note that it was her staff that removed the pillows. Definitely won’t stay here again.

  Property going downhill fast

  First room we were given didn’t have working A/C, 2nd room had an odor, and the ceiling in the bathroom was a mess (and not a new problem you could tell). WIFI wasn’t working throughout the property. Won’t stay here again.

  Needs upkeep

  We are grateful that we get to bring our large dog however, place inside is kind of ghetto. Tear in curtain, tear in lampshade, stain on carpet, staining on bedspread, pilling sheets, paint missing from dark purple walls behind bed, paint peeling in ceiling of bathroom. Staff not particularly friendly. One actually came off the elevator, saw us a few feet away and wouldn’t even hold the door for us. The manager was nice enough. It appeared she had way more than manager’s duties. She seemed to be doing many tasks that are normally delegated to other employees at other hotels. Never saw anyone else at the front desk. The hotel seem to cater to the drivers that transport the RVs from the factories to the dealerships. Those people were very polite, nice and quiet. I hate to give a poor review but I do appreciate reading truthful reviews when I am booking. This hotel needs work. Many, Many other hotels in area.

  Hotel stay

  We stayed overnight here and would stay again!! A little noisy from the second floor as we were on the first floor but it did not go long. Nice amenities of a workout room and indoor pool. We were on the first floor near a door so walks along sidewalks made it easy for us. Very nice breakfast.

  Very nice motel

  The motel was nice and very clean. Front desk people were all helpful. We took our two dogs with us and they gave us a room on the end of the first floor. Easy in and out with dogs. Nice area out behind the motel to walk dogs. This was one of the nicest rooms/motels we have stayed in. Very good location, reasonable price. Dog fee was 1st dog free and $20 for the second dog (no matter how many nights you stay). They waived our pet fee since we booked directly with the motel. Will definitely stay here again.
