Booked the stay and was unable to get a room. Waited over 1 hr in the lobby, note on door said will be back in 10 minutes. Called 3 times, no answer. Called BringFido but they were unable to reach anyone.
We were kept awake by noisy guests, about a dozen young adults, until 3AM when the police arrived and were able to quell the disturbance. The Red Roof management was slow to respond and not particularly apologetic the morning after. We will not stay there again.
Check in was good very friendly. Worst night sleep in a motel in recent memory. King bed, if you slept on either side it was worn out and felt like I would slide off. Moved to the middle and was lumpy. Took for ever to finally fall asleep even with a prescription sleeping pill. NO COFFEE Maker in the room and NO COFFEE in office. Was told to use instant and the microwave. BOOOOOO!
Everyone we encountered was super nice and very accommodating. Room was smoke free and clean. Lots of walking space for the paws but parents didn’t pick up the deposits so watch your step. Walking distance to fast food and Menard’s.
