Friendly staff, but property old and outdated. All door knobs are backwards. Sink faucets opposite normal. Leaking pipes in bathroom with bucket underneath. Telephone flashing red light and no one could stop it.

The hotel was fine for our night through Freemont. The bed was very comfortable and our Corgi was excited to lounge there all night after a day in the car. There was a strange puddle (from a previous dog, from the fridge?) on the floor when we arrived which was easily cleaned up. Some instructions about the air in the room would have been helpful since we left it on as we found it but then woke up to such moist air that the floors were damp; the dry air setting would have solved this.

The quality of the room was impressive. There wasn't a ton of green space to walk the dog, but because the hotel is in something of a dead end, there wasn't a ton of traffic, etc. and the area was good enough for a bathroom visit. The hotel was also quiet because of that dead end situation so the dog wasn't startled at night.

Easy on-easy off from I90. While the check-in was very smooth and great customer service, the main entrance smell like a smoke shop. Apparently there's a smoking section less than 10 ft from the door. The 1st floor room was very muggy and bed was somewhat comfortable. I wouldn't stay here again.

After three nights, in other hotels, our stay at this HI Express was very enjoyable. The girl at the front desk was super nice after I mentioned that I had a dog. There was plenty of green space to walk my Golden. The staff was masked, including the breakfast room attendant and the was a patio behind the dining room where you could eat your breakfast more comfortably. The room was large enough to have the dog's bed on the floor and not trip over it. I got a large, comfy bed in a very clean room. The price wasn't bad. Would definitely recommend!
