I was traveling from Denver to Syracuse Ny. I made 3 stops on my way. This hotel was day 2 of my travels. The location was great! The day front desk staff was friendly and kind, but those are the only good things about this hotel. The night front desk man was rude. My checking in interrupted his personal phone call and that seemed to bother him. He was unhelpful and unfriendly. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, the floor was dirty with dog food and clumps of dog hair. There was old blood on the bed sheet and human/dog hair stuck in the hair dryer!!!

our room smelled like a mold Petrie dish. not clean and air conditioner was just pumping cold and humid air in. bathroom fan did nothing and so everything steamed up more. bathroom door wouldn’t even close. not clean and smelled horrible. wondered if it had been cleaned. Would never stay at a Baymont again. not worth the $$$ and was creeped out by the state of the room all night. light fixtures were even rusted it was so damp in there. I hope I don't get sick.

This trip to Florida from Illinois was to have been an extended conversion van trip for us, but my husband couldn't make the trip. Instead, my son suggested he would go with me, but we needed to stay in motels. I tried to find modest price motels, but it's hard these days! This one worked for us, at least as well as a pricier motel in which we stayed. And I was introduced to motel waffles and pancakes. Impressive. Staying in my van in the woods would have been much nicer, but this worked out for us.

The entrance door for dogs was on the far end from where our room was located on the second floor. It was really difficult to get the dog in and out. And next to impossible to move the luggage that far for one person. I won’t stay there again. If dogs were allowed to pass through the lobby, it would have made the stay much more pleasant.

I recommend you find another hotel. We found this through BringFido. First problem is that the hotel is badly dated and in some disrepair. We also should have known there was a problem when a group was leaving because they said their room was dirty and there were bugs on the bed. We are very careful about bed bugs so checked our bed when we got to the room It was clean, which was probably the best thing about the hotel. This was in June/July 2022 and the price we booked was nearly $200 and with the pet fee, was over $200.
Before we arrived, I got a notice that the price had dropped to just over $100. When we checked in, I asked if we could get the better price. The woman was very nice and said that it was "probably ok" since I asked before checking in but I would need to talk to the morning manager. She said she would leave a message. In the morning, I asked to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, her curt reply was "Oh, I am sorry. Since you made the reservation through a third party, you will have to go through them. So then I contacted BringFido who said they would be happy to make the request. I received notice today that the hotel declined to provide any refund for the higher price. Find another hotel.

Very pet friendly for my large Doberman! The front desk has dog treats and poop bags too. Rooms are very clean and the bed was comfy.

Room was clean but smelled a little musty and the rug was sticky. Staff were very pleasant and my small dog liked the place. Bathroom was clean but has seen better days. For the price and convenience, I would stay here again.

It was the perfect location, staff was super nice. The hotel had a scent that I just can’t explain. It was like a musty scent mixed with old smoking scent. Thankfully the staff was really nice and pleasant or I probably would not have stayed there.

They were very welcoming, including my dog. They gave me a nice room near an exit to make it easier to walk the dog. I loved there location, perfectly loctated near all the Indiana Dune State Park entrances.

Stayed here on our last night of a two-week cross-country road trip. Clean and comfortable room, spacious grounds (lawn) surrounding. Had already eaten dinner before we got here, so I don't know how convenient it is to dining, but it served our needs fine.

Close to the dunes but the hotel was pretty outdated and the location was a little sketch. The staff was super friendly though. Was really turned off by people smoking weed in the parking lot and vomiting.

A little bit of a disaster. First, our room had a broken bathtub, then the wifi didn’t work, and finally our door broke and we got locked inside of our room. On the bright side, the staff was super nice and helpful and the rooms were clean.

We ended up not bringing our dog on this trip but we stayed at the Baymont anyway. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Staff was very friendly. I would stay there again.

We stayed here before, and recently stayed again.This time they were much nicer and everything was great. Last time it was just a normal experience but staff is so nice. They offered me dog potty bags and treats at check in. provide me lots of info in the area, and showed us a really good dog park named Woodland Dog park which was very close to hotel. Like a 5 min drive. They charged 20 dollars per my dog, and they have no weight limit. They also have a nice large area for pets on the right side.

Heavily dated, not very clean, not great service, breakfast lady did not smile at all. Our room faced the toll road, and we heard the noise all night.
