This motel was on the cheaper side compared to other places we stayed during our trip and it showed. The rules about pets were lax and there were no additional fees, which is nice if you're worried about your dog destroying something at the motel, but it means the rooms and furniture are torn up a bit from previous guests. The area around the hotel was a little seedy. We got approached by what appeared to be drug addicts right outside the front door asking us for money on more than one occasion. We were worried this might indicate that car break-ins would be a problem like they are in our hometown, but that at least wasn't the case while we were there. If you just need a place to sleep overnight during a trip like we did then this motel will do the job, but I wouldn't want to stay here longer than necessary unlike other places we stayed during our trip.

Disorderly and unfriendly check-in and check-out! Every staff member definitely hates their job! Place smells like bleach, but that doesn’t mean it’s clean! You won’t want to use their towels! Rough clientele thinks it’s funny to pull the fire alarm in the middle of the night! Best to sleep on top of the bed in your clothes and check out the minute you see daylight!

The room was clean and the young man who checked us in was attentive and nice, but that’s the end of the positives. When we arrived there was a solid contingent of live-in guests loitering in the lobby and out front. I think some were employees, but I wasn’t sure. The next morning, the desk staff was mainly out front smoking or hiding in the office. The desire to provide customer service was non-existent. Many of the guests felt sketchy and it was noisy until about 1 am.
