  Not very dog friendly

  We checked in around 10:30 pm. Girl at the desk was not very friendly. Told us to go out the door and down to another door to go to our room. When entering we see the hall from our room connected right to the lobby. Also she did not let us know where to take the dogs to the restroom. Next, there was nothing in the vending machines to drink and the tub drain was full of hair and we hoped the sheets had been changed but just went to bed. The next morning in the dark we tried to find grass for the dogs to go to the bathroom. Searched a large parking lot and finally found grass. Ran to it and the dogs immediately started hopping off their feet. The grass was full of stickers! We carried them out and began plucking them out of their feet, fur, our shoes and pants and still have splinters stuck in our fingers. So we just loaded up and left. Will not return.

  Not for Us

  We stayed here because it was the right price for us and our 2 dogs! I mean who charges $10 for each dog these days?

  However, you know how you usually have to turn the air down when you go into a room. Well ours wasn’t even turned on! It was almost 100 degrees outside and our room felt close to that. We got in our room about 9 and it took it until midnight to actually be cool enough to sleep. They have small refrigerators in the room but they don’t have a freezer. A big reason we need a refrigerator. They did put our reusable ice things in their freezer.

  I think another review said bring your fly swatter. It’s true, flies everywhere.

  Beds were comfortable, but the hot room made it difficult to sleep.

  Next time we will pay more if we ever have to stay in Colby again. Live and learn.

  Stay at Comfort Inn

  Loved the cleanliness of room and property. The breakfast and available coffee 24/7. Pool open 24 hours and adjacent to a very good restaurant. Virginia from front desk was very nice too! Pleasant stay after a long journey. My dog loved the place.

  Convenient Location With Lots of Grass

  If you need a strip off of I-70, you can’t get much more convenient. Massive amount of grass, but no convenient way to get there other than walking around the perimeter of the building. There’s a dog park (and kid park) at the huge fuel/truck stop behind it. A breakfast place across the street (though the hotel breakfast sufficed!), and a fantastic restaurant (City Lights) at the far end of the hotel. Virginia at the front desk was great; 1st floor room; clean albeit dated. Only complaint was the noise from other patrons.

  Old Dog, New Adventure

  Half way point on a 600 miles trip with a newly adopted 8 years old dog was the Colby Comfort Inn. Spot appreciated the entrance near his room, the wood floors, the smells the other dogs left behind. He also appreciated the dog park at the nearby Oasis truck stop where he could smell hundreds of other traveling dogs.

  Convenient location right off the highway

  There was a dog park right there and a restaurant connected to the hotel. Adequate for an overnight stay.

  Great Location

  Set right off I-70, easy to get to. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Not a lot of grassy area for pups but enough.

  Decent place to stay

  Good breakfast. Room was decent. People nice. Nothing special but I would stay there again.

  Amazing place!

  What a great place to stop with my pup. There was a treat for him from the front desk. The facility was clean and well-maintained. Lots of grass behind the hotel for dog walks. We went over to the dog park nearby for some running. I will stop here again.

  Super place to stay with dogs

  This is a super place to stay with dogs! No carpet, convenient exits, lots of open space to walk dogs and a dog park ( along with restaurants, convenience store, gas station) right next door. With a young puppy, after 9 hours on the road, that was a life saver. Probably the best place I have ever stayed with my dogs, and I have traveled a lot with them!

  Decent Hotel

  The hotel itself is nice and rooms are in good shape. Dog friendly overall but very little grass area. More grass options across the street or down the road a bit.
