  Great location!

  Comfort Inn in Hays was easy to get to, and we loved the room floors with no carpeting! Lovely stay!

  Never again

  When my dog wouldn’t quit smelling the floor I knew something wasn’t right. Very noisy and the bed felt like springs.

  Crowded room but adequate

  The room was adequate but the large furniture made the room too crowded for us to play with our puppy. A grassy area with poop bags was conveniently located in front of the hotel.

  Clean, friendly, easy stop

  Grateful for places like the Comfort Inn that accept large dogs (80lbs), are clean and reasonable. Recommend!

  Excellent hotel

  Very pet friendly. Lady in front desk was very pleasant. We had a room on the ground floor at end of hall that had a door that we entered and exited. Lots of areas around the hotel for pets to do their business. You can also walk them around the area if they need some exercise.

  Good solid clean stop

  First time I’ve stayed here but we’ll be back. Nothing flashy but clean, quiet, and friendly. Breakfast was nothing to brag on but in this age of Covid, what they offered was better than nothing like a lot of places.

  Nice place with a few surprises

  Well kept property, friendly staff and good location. Beds were comfortable and sheets were soft! There is a doggie area outside and it is also clean and neat. Location for amenities was good. Our little pup found some surprises in our room which made us nervous about the COVID cleaning level. He found a dead, petrified frog (about 2" long)under the sink cabinet which I had to pry out of his mouth and flush. Then he continued to find two different species of dead bugs. I took the larger one to the desk and was told it was a beetle. However, my point was if this room had been cleaned more intensely than usual why was I finding dead things in it? The carpet had obviously not been cleaned as there were "oops" spots on it in several places.

  I really felt that they should have at the least returned my non-refundable pet deposit since obviously it had not been cleaned all that well prevously. Desk offered us a move to the second floor, which with a dog and having already settled in was not reasonable. I am thankful I was able to extricate the frog before it was swallowed as who knows what would have followed from that event. Things like that can be dangerous for a pet.

  Adequate for one night

  Located in nice location. Tub/shower combo with non-functioning shower.
