Plenty of places to walk the dog, with all the extras, free happy hour, real free breakfast with omelet station! Put us in a corner suite on the 4th floor so dog would not disturb others. She doesn't but nice.

After a long drive from Maryland, the Embassy Suites was a welcome home away from home. Easy check-in, lots of space to walk your dog, nice rooms.

This place was awesome! Easy to get to, and easy check-in. We had a little hiccup with our dogs prior to arriving but Celeste at BringFido took care of it. The hotel had evening reception with complimentary drinks and food, the breakfast in the morning was stellar, made to order omelets were so good. We also ordered dinner there too and it was good. Staff was nice and helpful. We only stayed one night but loved it. Our teenage daughter especially! Highly recommend!

Puppers are treated like royalty. Lots of green space to walk the dogs. Plus, the best dog park in Lexington is a short walk from the hotel. Acres of 2 secure off-leash parks. One for large dogs & one for small dogs.
As for the human accommodations, the bathroom was nasty. It was a roll-in accessible shower. The plastic shower curtain was moldy & was a foot too short from reaching the floor, ergo, water was EVERYWHERE. We had to request extra towels because we used them to sop up the water. The fold down handicap shower seat only had 3 feet (the fourth was missing), very dangerous if one had to use it. The first night the AC didn’t work. They sent a maintenance man who finally got it working about 10 pm. The bedside clock radio was incorrect by an hour & it couldn’t be changed to the correct time. Choose this location and hotel based on other 5 bone reviews. I guess us reviewers all have different tastes in hotel style and cleanliness “feel”. First the good, happy hour and bartender is generous with his wine pour, front desk is efficient and super welcoming, and yes there is an epic fenced Kentucky bluegrass dog park a few minutes walk (avoid the massive quantities of duck poo on the left side grass) heading that way. However, this hotel has NOT been updated inside since it was probably built. I can appreciate a vintage 1990’s Embassy Suites, the indoor garden area, dark woods, but in our room it equated to frayed carpet, stains and holes in/on the walls, a hardly functioning shower and the grand finale…an AC that wouldn’t cool beyond 77 degrees.
The wonderful front staff offered another room- but only had a queen (we are a king size family) and it was late and we didn’t want to move our stuff. So they brought us a box fan. Helped a bit, but we still slept covers off and uncomfortable (Lexington was 97 that day). Bed linens are nice and breakfast includes fresh made omelets. However be prepared to get charged for the internet and PARKING… in a basic parking lot which has lots of open space since they are located near business offices. For the high price of bringing Fido, we expected super clean rooms, as only a crazy dog lover would pay $100 for their pets overnight. Lucky for us, management comped some fees due to the AC issue and overall lack of attention to cleaning of the room.

The hotel is very nice but the best part is location. There are great walking areas for everyone! Lots of beautiful lawn areas and a dog park too! We will definitely stay here again!

We like this place, we can usually get a room on the second floor so we can just walk up w the dogs. The rooms are perfect with a little kitchen and a separate bedroom so my husband can stay up and watch TV when I go to bed.

Very pet friendly hotel! Has a lot of grassy areas and a short walk away there is a dog park. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and their breakfast options were awesome! If we pass through Lexington again we will plan to here!

Outstanding hotel with ample roaming space for Fido. Huge interior atrium, fountains, and fully ramped for accessibility. Ample full breakfast prepared by a chef. Room service and happy hour are delightful. Pricey, but full value.

This is an excellent choice for dog owners. Separate carpeted side entrances to avoid the main lobby.

Beautiful hotel that is embracing of pets. Lovely lake right outside, and a very very nice pet friendly restaurant a few steps away which has outdoor seating at the lakes edge. Will def be staying here again, and will def bring Foxy! 💕🐾
