The hotel was nice. We were very comfortable. Upon checking in, the young blonde woman looked at me like I did not belong and asked if I was aware of the pet policy and the cost. Her demeanor was belittling. The room had 2 dead bugs and garbage on the floor in the doorway and bathroom. I walked my dog as suggested on the end of the parking lot, no where in the golf course. A rude older man jumped off a cart and started telling me everywhere I shouldn’t go with wonderful air traffic controller signals. If you enjoy being treated like you don’t belong with garbage and dead bugs, then it’s your spot. I will say, the overnight staff woman was very sweet when I came down to buy my daughter a shirt. The rooms were very modern and comfortable.

Currently, this resort is under construction for renovations. I knew that when I booked my reservation, and I’m not going to hold it against them. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and so helpful if you needed anything. There’s a great grassy area for pets, and access to a walking path if you cross the street in front. Just ask the front desk about it. Our room was on the 4th floor, but my pup had no problem with the elevators. Once the renovations are complete, I think this will be a fantastic resort.
