  sketchy but sufficient

  Just needed a place for me and the dogs to crash while driving across the country; wanted a bed and a shower. Got both, but the area was definitely a bit seedy in the way others have noted in their reviews. Strangely the exact same guy was standing outside the back door smoking every time I went in or out it.

  Don’t stay here if you love your pet/s

  walked to room, it wasn’t in locked position, went in, room was dirty and there was cut up pills (drugs) in the chair. constant people walking in & out of building, playing loud music outside window, walls were paper thin and hotel just smelled of pot. even my dogs were acting uneasy, which is not their normal nature/behavior. spend the extra money elsewhere even if you’re only staying for a few hours. get your rest & peace of mind for you & your pets safety by staying at a higher end hotel.

  Great place

  This place was welcoming and very dog friendly. Large grassy area for walking the dogs. They didn’t have breakfast at this location, and because everyone seems to have dogs there was some parking between rooms.

  Room not clean

  Food in dresser drawers, pizza in microwave. They said a long time renter had just left, but the maid is supposed to open every drawer, the fridge, and the microwave, but she is new. We asked for and got a different room.

  One Day OK

  If you want to stay one night, it is ok. Positives: clean bed, no rug in room, accept pets without fee, nice staff, nice pet relief area in the back. To improve: bath lay out (tub in one place, toilet in other, sink out of the bath); broken bath sink, old paint and decor.

  Easy and comfortable stay

  Nothing fancy. Great for the price. Clean rooms and there was plenty of grassy area to walk my dog. They do have poop bags. Great stay.

  Pay the extra for a nice place

  Our room had a bad smell (maybe cleaning supplies?), no toilet paper when we arrived, a really sticky floor, and 2 screws sticking up from the floor where we believe a door stop used to be. Otherwise, it was a bed and shower, very basic.

  Nice hotel for the money

  We were happy with the room. It had a refrigerator and microwave and nice TV with lots of channels. We got a room close to the back door which was great for taking our dogs out. My only suggestion would be better pillows. They were so thin I had to use 2 just to keep my head from being tilted downward.

  Red Roof Inn

  It was clean but old, noisy and no amenities. Also our keys had to be reset 3 times. Would not stay again.

  Great location, good value for overnight stay

  Large king size room. The bed was a little lumpy and hard. Pet friendly with no additional pet fee.

  Not so good….

  Room was actually nice, but exterior badly lacking. It was ground floor, one room from back of building. Door would not even close (sprung) and the glass window in door was broken. I did not skeet as did not feel safe, and I’m a Vietnam combat veteran!!!! Asked front desk lady about broken door, and she blew me off, “there are two locks on my room door.” Not comforting, a pretty dismal motel. Drury Inn next Paducah exit was full. No more Red Roof for me and pups. Do not recommend til doors are fixed!!!!!

  Wonderful Rooms, Overwhelmed Staff

  The room was great. However, poor Catherine who was relatively new and obviously older, was overwhelmed between a lobby full of tired travelers and a constantly ringing phone on a Friday night. I would gladly had given 5 bones but it was not fair to her or your customers for her to be totally responsible on a summer Friday night all alone… shame on management.

  Basic Hotel, no frills but a good find

  Clean, happy to see tiled floors in room. Front desk was polite and kind. Parking was great and would stay again.

  stay away!

  This place is a dump! Would give it zero bones if I could. Hotel smelled bad from the lobby and the room. Drain did not work in sink, shower and toilet were filthy. Bed was uncomfortable. Clock did not work. Back door was propped open, no security. Dog walking area and parking lot were covered with cigarette butts. Will never stay here again. Only good thing I can say is that the Shell station next to the hotel had excellent chicken and coffee. Spend a few bucks more and go elsewhere and avoid this dump.

  Basic, no frills motel

  This is an older motel but appeared to be clean. There are absolutely no frills in this motel. It is your basic but adequate lodging. Staff was friendly. Motel was mostly quiet with an occasional doggie outburst. Breakfast was minimal. There's a Shell station/store next door that has good food. The roadside sign was not on so I actually drove past the motel twice before I saw it somewhat off the street.

  Terrible! Avoid this place.

  Happy to have a place to stay with our pooch, but it reeked of cigarettes, the bathroom door wouldn’t lock (the jam was broken in two pieces), the top drawer of the dresser wouldn’t stay closed, and the walls/doors were paper thin. Our pup was anxious all night because of the noise (she’s been great in hotels most times). There was plenty of grassy space behind and next to the hotel for the dogs to go potty or even run (not fenced). But the hotel itself was so sketchy! We were extremely disappointed.

  Great hospitality!

  We appreciate the Red Roof Inn in Paducah, KY! Our goldendoodle loved being able to stay with us. Very nice staff, too.

  Clean and up to date decor. Can't believe the very low price of $55.! The desk peeps were not only friendly but happy. A great night's sleep.

  Perfect Nights Stay

  While on a cross country trip this Red Roof was a perfect stay. Plenty of room for our pup to stretch her legs and walk in a nice, clean grass area. Clean room, very comfortable beds. Left before breakfast so can’t comment on that. Oh and great low price. Would recommend to anyone traveling with a pet.
