    Great location!

Everything was beautiful! The room was spacious, clean and ready for our pup.The property was adorable and the breakfast we had with our dog on the patio was great. They even had water and an offered sausage for our dog!

    Excellent!

we had a great experience at this hotel with our pup. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming of us and our dog. I was not sure how things would go considering we are still in the middle of the pandemic. However, they were more than glad to have us and our dog. The room was big and clean and in a perfect spot. There was plenty of spots outside to walk her even though there is not a “designated” area to walk dogs. The hotel is right around the corner from Essex Street which is central to many of the tourist attractions. In fact we could see the Witch House from our window. Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room for the complimentary breakfast, but if it’s nice out, they will allow you to sit outside on the porch on a table off to the side. Almost every attraction and every single store we went in allowed our dog in. We always ask before we bring her in and not only did most of them have signs letting you know dogs of all kinds are welcome, but they also all had dog treats to give your furry friend. Some stores came out and invited our dog in before we could even ask. Salem and The Salem Inn are super dog friendly! I would very much recommend this beautiful Inn to stay in with your pooch. It’s a great destination to enjoy with your dog.

    Overall great except breakfast

This hotel was beautiful. Upon arrival, we found a dog bed with a bone for our dog, which was nice. My room had a whirl pool bath tub which was amazing and very enjoyable. The breakfast however, despite being complimentary, was a disappointment for me. There were very minimal options, and then bagels were inedible in my opinion. But apart from the breakfast, this hotel was wonderful
