The room stunk! I asked for a non smoking room but this one smelled like cigarette smoke. Girl at front desk said all rooms are non smoking but the smell was unbearable. Asked for another room but she said she couldn't so I asked to speak to manager and she said she was the manager. I don't think she was! She was very rude telling me the room was fine. I ended up in a really clean and nice hotel, The Sleep Inn.

This hotel looked like it had just reopened after Covid. While the staff was very nice and professional, I would not stay here again. There is little parking, the one front door did not open, one of two elevators was out of order, some of the outdoor steps were broken, everything looked worn and a bit run down. There was almost no grass to walk your dog, pick up bags dispenser was broken and empty, dog walking area not well lit nor an easy access from any outer door. The breakfast area was large with lots of tables, but almost no one ate there as the food choices were very limited and not too appetizing. Fortunately there is a shopping center about 2 blocks away, a deli & ice cream store a half block away, and several fast food restaurants within 2 miles.

First of all, staff was really helpful and let me know where to park so that my vehicle would be on their cameras. There was good walking with the pup, and good walkable restaurants and more in downtown Cumberland.

My dog and two cats were welcomed and felt at home at this hotel. The room was nice and large, and we had plenty of space for me and for them. It made the process of relocating from Denver, CO to Cumberland, MD so much easier.

The hotel is dirty a lot of homeless people hang out in the parking lot no one picks up dog mess and overall not somewhere I would stay again
