Lots of grassy area to walk. Beautiful clean hotel room; not a “dog room.” Cold fridge. Clean beds and towels. Doors that worked!

The hotel itself was what we expected. Our room was in the basement but had a full window due to the nature of the hotel being situated on a hill. The exit to the dog area was close by and was clean. There are no dog bags provided but there is a trash receptacle prior to entering the hotel. Upon opening our room door we were greeted with a STRONG dog odor. Our room needed a deep cleaning. While our beds were fresh and the bath clean, the floors probably had received a perfunctory mop since the last occupant. Running the AC helped a bit. I reported this information to the manager.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very underwhelming for the price of the stay. I like the fact that the pet friendly part of the hotel was separate from the main floor but because you are essentially in the basement with little or no ventilation the wallpaper in the hall is pelting off in several sections. And one other oddity I’ve never seen before is the bathroom has no fan or ventilation so the light fixtures are covered in rust and forget about trying to get dry after a shower! Why are there no fans in the bathroom?? I almost got the impression that being pet friendly was an afterthought and something this hotel doesn’t take seriously. This was certainly not the most expensive place I have ever stayed in but the not the cheapest either so I would have expected better!

This hotel is very dog friendly. Pet rooms are on the ground level and are not carpeted. Staff were very helpful. Plenty of space to walk dog by the hotel. There is a Chipotle a couple of doors down if you need takeout. Very convenient location on the Dual Highway.

The pet rooms are on the first floor (basement). They are quiet, comfortable, and have vinyl floors. Staff are friendly, and the continental breakfast is good. I would definitely stay again, and recommend this location.

Room was clean and a lot of space, although showing wear and tear. But okay when the dog is with us. First floor entrance convenient for walkies.

The Comfort Suites hotel in Hagerstown was quick and easy to find right off of I70. The room was clean and quiet with comfortable bedding and appropriately warm heat settings on a frigid night. The housekeeping and desk staff were exceptionally friendly. The breakfast was mediocre, but other options are close by. There was easy access to the outdoor green space for our dogs to do their business.

Loved the limited lower level rooms with separate entrance next to parking lot so we didn't have to climb stairs, go through a hotel lobby or be around a lot of other guests. Nice big grassy area in the back of the hotel next to a corn field - very quiet and peaceful. No carpeting in room - always good with dogs! 5 BONES!!!!
