Fine hotel but maybe not for Fido

Lots of construction and fast food in the area so with it very little green space and plenty of trash. Not so great for our puppy. Hotel front desk very pleasant, room comfortable

    Room

Had an odor in room (probably cleaning spray) which bothered my asthma and window did not open. Breakfast staff very pleasant and helpful.

    Fantastic stop

Easy check-in/check-out, interior entrance so we felt super safe, and they loved seeing my dog. Can’t get any better than that!

Very nice and practically like new!

Surrounded by grass and trees for your pup to explore. Can walk to a few restaurants as well!

    Flea infestation

We've stayed at this hotel several times with our dog and have always found it to be adequate and a good place to stay. Unfortunately our most recent stay found us in a room infested with fleas and now our dog is infested too. When I talked to the lady at the desk and showed her a dead flea, she admitted that they were having a problem this summer with fleas. It's too bad that not everyone travelling with their pets keeps them flea-free. I know that hotels such as this one do all they can to keep their rooms clean and pest-free, but this was a disappointment for us. Now we're still trying to get rid of the fleas our dog picked up.

Quiet rooms, lots of changes recently

I stayed at this hotel with my three dogs a year ago and loved it. It's away from the interstate, so rooms are quiet and the climate control allows constant white noise. I returned recently and was disappointed to see the area behind the hotel, previously a beautiful hill with green space and grazing sheep, being excavated. The hotel has lost a lot of green space for fido to roam. Sad, but not in the hotel's control obviously. Other than really wishing people would clean up their cigarette butts, we had a lovely stay.
