      Outdated, dark and dinghy

      The roof in the lobby was leaking. We checked in there was only one bath towel for the two of us. When we asked for another one they said they were out and could give us a fitness towel. We were surprised by that considering how few cars were in the parking lot (we got on late in the evening). Places are stressing all this additional cleaning they're doing because of Covid and I was shocked to see dental floss on our bathroom floor (see below picture). Apparently they weren't even doing a good job of regular cleaning so I seriously doubt about additional cleaning for Covid. The room was very dark even with all lights on. The website said hot breakfast however they didn't even provide juice and all they had was some muffins and danish in a small fridge. There was a door in the back that was closest to our room that was broken. Normally in order to get into that door you would have to put your room key in which is fine however it wasn't registering that it was reading any person's room key so they just had a broken piece of brick for you to wedge in the doorway.

      It was ok but expensive for what we got.

      My wife and I brought our lab mix and corgi to deep creek. The staff wasn't warm and friendly like other places we stayed but not cold either. We only had 1 bath towel to share, so we had to ask for more and they were out. We had a hard time understanding this since the hotel wasn't even a 1/4 full, looking at the cars in the parking lot. This hotel needs to be remodeled badly, very dated. Not alot of light in the room either. If you need a place to stay for a night and everything is booked it's ok.

      Nice hotel

      The only chain hotel in Deep Creek area. Bonus it is pet friendly. Lots of grass outside for the dogs.
