Surrounding area in need of clean-up. A grocery store bag full of crabs & shells was on the ground at the “dog area.” Crab shells also on ground just outside room. Bottom level room damp due to rain overnight. All clothing I had hanging was damp. Area rug under the bed was wet and dirty. Why the area rug under the bed anyway??!! Time to burn it. Floors were greasy. Good point: bed was clean.

I think the title says it all. Went along with the stained sheets; if it wasn’t already close to midnight & I hadn’t been told this was the last available dog friendly room, I would’ve “noped” out of there. Llucky I keep blankets in the car for my pup that we could both use. 🐾

The exterior of the property was great for dogs, with quite a bit of well maintained grass, seating areas, and a doggie poop bag station. Our room was small and a bit shabby, but very clean. My only real complaint was the bed. The mattress was pretty lumpy and definitely due for an upgrade, as were the pillows. But for the location, price, and space to walk our dog, we’d stay here again.

We have stayed at other Red Roof Inns in Ohio. They were great. This one put us up on the 3rd floor. Not fun to walk down 2 flights of stairs in the dark to take the dog out. Not the nicest area either.

Hotel was a nice place. Plenty of area for several dogs to be out at the same time. Comfy beds and pillows. Kinda small room but its a hotel so it works. Left my dog a couple of times in his cage and everything was OK when got back. Not a 5 star resort but a good place for both man and beast. Would stay again if back in the area.
