Nice big rooms. Fantastic free breakfast; the most extensive that I've seen at any hotel. My pup thought he was a star. Any time a staff member saw him they lived all over him.

We had a fantastic stay with our dog at the Inn. There is a spacious dog run next to the property. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff welcomed our dog with treats. They even offer pizza and bring it to your room. We've stayed at many places with our pup and the Inn, so far, has been the best.

Best Western is not usually our hotel of choice, but because we needed a place where we could have our dog and this was on our route and got good reviews, we decided to give it a try. We could not have been happier! The gentleman who checked us in was beyond friendly and courteous and gave us a great recommendation for dinner (High Tide in Brewer, ME). He also stressed that if we had any problem at all to come to the desk (staffed 24 hrs., of course), but we had none. The room was very clean and the "dog section" of the hotel is near an outside door, so easy to take the doggo out.
After exiting through that door, just around the corner there is a mown path in a large field where you can take your dog. Clean-up bags and a trash receptacle are provided. The hotel was very quiet, although there were only a handful of other guests the night we were there (late April). Breakfast was beyond adequate - fruit, pastries (although they were store-type), scrambled eggs, waffles. It was well presented and the breakfast area was very clean. I don't know that we'll ever be in that area with our dog again, but I would not hesitate to stay there if we were.

We stayed at the BW WHI one night. It is by FAR the best hotel experience if you’re traveling with your dog and find yourself in Bangor. The dog walk is fantastic! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly. And as guest, you get an actual sit-down buffet-style breakfast. I was so very pleasantly surprised, given my past experiences with other chains! Absolutely love if and totally recommend it!!!

Room was big and very comfortable for us and the pup. Pup loved the large grassy area to explore and find the perfect spots for relief. Poop bag station at the beginning of the trail. Staff very friendly. This is my favorite pet friendly hotel in the area.

While slightly out of the main part of town for Bangor - the were welcoming and pleasant about our big dog - German Shepherd - and they have a very large adjacent field that was perfect for exercising him with the ball and walks and runs after a very long car ride and then again in the morning to use up as much energy before another long car ride. And the rooms seemed to be unusually quiet also.

We had another hotel in the area booked bur quickly found out they were not really pet friendly. So happy we found this one clean and a nice dog walk in a field of wildflowers.

Not terribly pet friendly being on the 3rd floor but our doggie has no problems with elevator rides. The room was very clean, tad bit worn but we were very comfortable and it was a very quiet hotel so we all 3 got a great nights sleep. It's one we would stay at again.
