Simple motel in the center of Bar Harbor, within walking distance of downtown. Clean with a very welcoming staff.

The Anchorage is a roadside inn with quick access to Acadia Natl Park. There are small grassy areas in front of the property & along the sidewalk next to the street where you can walk your dog. Although the furnishings in our room were dated, the room was clean & comfortable.

Had ground floor room and enjoyed my stay. Very clean, pride of ownership, family business. Bar harbor was a blast and Acadia fantastic.
