      Fantastic place

      This hotel has a gorgeous view of Penobscot Bay and people with pets have first floor rooms that go directly out to a huge lawn and down to Penobscot Bay. Perfect place to stay and not very far from the town of Belfast.

      Decent hotel, sucky rules regarding dogs...

      We stayed here over the weekend with our 110 pound newfie mix. They allowed her in but with a fee on top of the cleaning fee. It was priced pretty well but the halls smelled weird. The beds we're not the most comfortable beds and the double Queen rooms only have a tiny fridge. It's no mariott. They also don't allow you to leave your dog's in the room alone which is kind of an inconvenient rule. However, their campus is all pet friendly including the outside seating at the attached restaurant and bar. They also don't have a weight limit.
      I wouldn't not stay here again, but I won't seek it out next time. I'll probably look for something else first.
