While it is nice that our dog could stay with us in the hotel room. The rule that the dog could not be left alone really didn’t make it that dog friendly. Luckily we were traveling during the off-season and it wasn’t too hot or cold, so we were able to leave him in the car the times we were doing things that were not dog friendly. But in the summer…this would not be an option and as a couple we would have to eat separately or only get take out. The room itself was good, it just felt misleading to call it dog friendly when we couldn’t even get breakfast that was included because we couldn’t bring him to the dining room or leave him in the room 🤦♀️
Bodie’s name was on the greeting board and there was a treat and water for him. His humans loved the warm staff that greeting them, the room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding! Perfect location, park across the street next to the harbor, great shops and places to eat.
Winnie, our 3 year old pup was treated like a princess with lots of treats and attention. She loved the staff and the relaxed environment. Staff provided wonderful recommendations about pup friendly activities and restaurants in the area. Will definitely return.
Our pup, Blitz, was treated like a VIP! His name was written on a blackboard with other dog guests, right next to a jar of biscuits. The staff also called ahead of our check-in to make sure they put the right size bed for him in our room. Highly recommend!
The staff was exceptional, and our room with a balcony overlooking the harbor was memorable. In fact we enjoyed Camden more than Bar Harbor (Acadia notwithstanding) because of our stay. Our furry friend was treated like royalty. 5 of 5 bones.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here w our eight month old husky/shepherd mix, Juno. Denise was so friendly and Juno warmed up quite quickly to her and the treats she gave her. It meant a lot to have such an accommodating hotel that is helping us socialize our pup so early on in a brand new environment. Room was clean and breakfast was great. Thank you!
