My dog got treats and a blanket when we first arrived. Staff are friendly. The room is very clean. Our room is close to the backdoor which is convenient for us to take the dog out to do his business outside. Breakfast was okay. Hot coffee 24/7 and iced coffee for free until 10pm.

This place is clean and the staff is very friendly! The best thing, though was when I checked in, they gave me cookies and also a bag with a blanket, treats, and poop bag for my dog. What a fun surprise!!!! I definitely recommend this place!

We prefer to stay in Ellsworth when visiting Acadia. Easy access to Schoodic Peninsula part of park, and convenient to get ready-made sandwiches in nearby grocery store for picnics. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Seemed recently renovated with convenient large pet area right in back with poop bags. At check-in we were given a goody bag with dog treats and dog-friendly area brochures, which was so nice! Resident Bernese Mountain dog (manager’s dog) is very friendly too.

We traveled to Acadia and found this as a great alternative to staying in Bar Harbor! Super welcoming towards dog, clean and a nice green space to walk dog before/after travel. We will definitely return when in the area!

The plusses: dogs are provided with a fuzzy blanket and treats. The room (including bedding) was exceptionally clean, which is really important to me. The human breakfast wasn't good, but that was okay as I prefer a gourmet espresso drink at a nearby cafe anyway.

We went up to Maine to see Acadia/Bar Harbor area. This was a nice spot to be based out of. Not too far away from Bar Harbor. Nice area for dogs. The front desk gave us a bag of goodies for our dog.

Great service during COVID. Everyone wore masks and enforced the policy. Very pet friendly and easy to walk dog behind that hotel. It is located around many other stores and restaurants.
