    Econo Lodge Freeport welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $10 per pet, per night. Only select rooms allow dogs. Guests traveling with dogs must call (877) 411-3436 prior to booking to verify availability of a pet-friendly room or risk not being able to check in with a dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Well-behaved dogs may be left in the room unattended. There are grassy areas on the property for pet relief. Cats are not accepted.

      Great location, not great room

      The room was labeled as non-smoking but very much smelled otherwise and was not the cleanest. The sink and shower did not drain properly. Although there were grassy areas, they were full of dog poop and cigarettes. Additionally, there were some strange folks hanging outside the hotel.

      Great Quiet Location

      Plenty of space to walk dogs. Pleasant comfortable room.

      Good Spontaneous Stay!

      We ended up staying around portland a little bit longer and decided to stay close rather than driving 2 hours back home. Econo lodge did the trick! Was extremely clean and remodeled with nice wood flooring! Only downside was the air conditioning unit in the room was not very strong and flat pillows :) Otherwise was a great place to stay!

      Clean, Comfortable & Fluffy Butt Friendly

      I was very pleased with the accommodations. The outdoor access was a relief considering my dog is a timid rescue. The room was clean, comfortable and appreciated after a long day of travel. My fur ball and I slept well and enjoyed a hot breakfast in the morning. A clean, dog friendly room + waffles in the morning = happy tails! We will definitely be returning.
