It was perfect for us. First floor, sliding glass door for easy access to outside. Car was able to be parked close. Doggy walk area large and bags were even provided. No breakfast which is fine with me but there was coffee in the lobby. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is not far from the highway, but it has good walking around it. I was able to take both dogs for walks on a sidewalk with beautiful grass next to it. The staff was friendly, and the accommodations comfortable.

Easy to find, well maintained. The two restaurants, Volcano and Stacks, were both good and conveniently attached to the hotel. Strictly speaking, there is a $50 pet fee. However, it's waived when you leave if the dogs behave.

Clean rooms, close to shopping and restaurants. The fact that it is dog friendly is a BIG plus. Definitely will go back.

The pet friendly rooms are all on the ground floor with private sliding glass doors to the dog relief area outside (which was large and clean). The room was comfortable and very sound proof. I know people were in the rooms next door but all I heard of them was their water pump when they turned the shower on (and that was muffled too). Traveling with three pets, one of whom is a cat, makes it hard to find accommodations. This place was a gem. I’ll be remembering it in the future when I come back to visit family.

The ground floor room we had was fantastic! Large glass sliding door opened directly out to the grassy area where pippi could walk and smell and relieve herself. The front desk was helpful and nice, the room was very comfortable. The only minor issue was that this particular room was directly next to the workout room and pool area and the ice and vending machines, which made for a bit of noise that would have otherwise been avoided (but not excessive). The overall experience was so positive I still give it 5 bones. If I could afford it, I would stay here any time I needed a room. But unfortunately we are more in the Motel 6 price range usually.

Room was nice. The window sheers stunk of body order. Checkout we had to wait for someone to check the room before leaving. After waiting awhile the girl said if we knew there wasn’t any damage we could go ahead and leave.

We stayed here with our Bernese Mountain Dog. The staff was friendly and the hotel was fine, but outdated. It was a good location to get to some of the breweries in the area, but was not downtown.

As other reviewers have mentioned, seems to be a bit of a sketchy location. Is dog friendly, and we were put in a first floor room, which was convenient. They charge a $50 pet deposit, and then check the room when you’re ready to leave and return the deposit. Staff was nice, I personally would just spend the extra money for a Hilton and guarantee cleanliness, but if you’re looking to save a bit of money, it’s not horrible here.

Room was a nice room on the 1st floor. Great for taking the dogs out, especially since it had a sliding glass door in the room for easy access to outside. Staff was friendly. Just had to call the front desk to let them know I was ready to go so they could come check the room to give back pet deposit. I hold definitely stay again

Very underwhelming. We were put in a 3rd floor room, which is terrible and not exactly dog-friendly. Asked for a ground level room as this would have been far better for the doggos but was denied. They didn't provide anything special for the dogs at all. No treats, no water bowls, nothing. Hotel itself is in a not-great neighborhood (strip club directly across the street) and the room wasn't very clean. No breakfast offering due to their in-house restaurant being closed, so instead they offered us all granola bars. In all I doubt we'd ever stay here again as it was far more like a cheap motel than any decent hotel

Not overly plush but was clean and a good place a night. Granted it was pandemic options limited for food etc. Staff was very friendly. Super easy access to 95. I really liked that “dog rooms” are in first floor with slider directly onto grass area. This was a big plus.

I would recommend solely on the room’s sliding door access to outside grassy area. It was so nice not to have to walk her through a hallway every time she needed OR wanted to go out. Having a restaurant on site was very convenient. Although well behaved, we don’t like to leave our dog alone in a space we don’t own. My husband was able to attend Happy Hour (while Raven and I napped) and then carry out from the restaurant and the food was good. There is an Egg and I also on site but get there early on a weekend morning as it gets busy quickly. Our room was clean and pleasant but the fitted sheet wouldn’t stay on the mattress and there were no comfy blankets or comforters just very thin bedding. They do inspect your room upon check out but it’s done quickly and well worth it to be able to Bring Fido😊

The Ramada Plaza is located south of Portland, so it takes about 15 minutes to get into the city. That means that you do have to drive a bit from the hotel to get some food. The first floor room was clean & spacious enough for our dog, & we really appreciated being able to access the outdoors directly from our sliding patio door. This is a large property with surrounding grass so there is lots of area available to walk dogs. There is an actual designated area for dogs between the parking lots but it did not seem to be used much as it is a distance from the actual hotel & the dog bag dispensary was empty. Note: Hotel staff will do a room inspection prior to your checkout when you have a pet.

Stayed here two nights. Had a ground floor room with slider so easy in and out with dogs without having to go through hotel. Room was decent and clean. Little noisy next to highway but convenient. Price reasonable as well.

Was pleasantly surprised at how convenient this location was. Our room was on the ground floor with patio doors, which made it easy for walking. There is some grass around the hotel. The hotel is right off the access ramp, so there is some road noise.

Super friendly to dogs, the staff was very
Helpful and told us to leave our dog in the room While we are downstairs at the restaurant. They would call us if he barked too much. No charge for service dog. The room was very nice and had a patio which our dog loved.
Had a snowstorm and Dozer loved exploring the large hotel and corridors, getting some exercise without walking in the freezing cold. Indoor swimming pool. Tops my book!
