The hotel was super clean and the staff were friendly! Location is right next to Cracker Barrel, but tucked back from the road for more privacy. It is next to the highway, but you can barely hear the noise! Location is convenient and very safe. They keep dogs on the main floor, closer to the exit, which was super convenient! The relief area was clean, but the pick up papers were out. This was the first time I have taken my dog with me, and have nothing but good to say. (We did not use the pool.) Will definitely recommend and book here again!

The place is infested with mosquitos. There were so many mosquitos, outside and indoors. My daughter was stung so many times that she had an allergic reaction. My dogs were covered in bites. However, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a good experience for a 1 night stay. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated that they gave us a 1st floor room as requested (my pup doesn’t like elevators). Breakfast was average but as expected for that type of hotel. Overall I was very happy with this stay and will look for this hotel for future stops in the area.

Steve on the maintenance crew was so understanding about my dog having some nervous accidents. Carol at the front desk was very helpful. Nice back area for walking the dog but I wish people would take care not to leave stuff for curious dogs in the grass. Right next to a Cracker Barrel and free breakfast.

This has to be the nicest Baymont we've stayed in. Rooms were clean, lobby clean, breakfast was good. Only complaint is the pet walking area was on the backside of the hotel, it was not lit well, it was very isolated and I felt a bit creepy walking our boy alone. It didn't bother the husband, but I wasn't comfortable walking after dark.

We recently stayed at the Baymont Inn in Bridgeport with our medium-sized dog. Our stay was quite short as we didn't arrive until the evening and had to leave at 5:30 am. The front desk clerk was very helpful, giving us some peanut butter packets I requested to take on the road since breakfast wouldn't yet be open.
There is a large grassy area behind the hotel which is perfect to walk and relieve your dog. The room was adequately-sized with a comfortable bed and comes with a microwave and fridge. There are a couple of food options within walking distance of the hotel. And, the room was priced very well, with only a $25 pet fee. The bath towels are quite thin and the pillows are weirdly hard, but overall, we were very happy to have chosen this hotel to accommodate us and our dog.

The front desk ladies (Dawn & Carol) here were great! There was a dog in another room who was constantly barking for over an hour and setting off another dog across the hall. This in turn was making my dog anxious and she wouldn’t let me rest as she paced back and forth and jumped off and on the bed. I decided that we wouldn’t be resting anyway and that we’d just leave and try to finish our journey home. When I walked up to the front desk, they both were concerned (I recently had surgery and was making a long trip home) and immediately switched me to a room at the other end of the long hall with no extra charge. This was even after my dog and I spent almost two hours in the first room! They both apologized for the inconvenience and said that they had heard it, too.
My husband and I had stayed here in the past with our girl Sandy and had no issues. The rooms have recently been updated, and the building was clean. Thanks for looking out for your guests - both with two legs and four!
