At check-in they didn’t show my reservation, so I had to show my email from BringFido. Then they sent us to a filthy room that had not been cleaned.

After checking in, we were told they didn't know we had a dog and she didn't know if she had a room for us. Not the way we hoped to start our vacation. The clerk was very negative about "third party" reservations and made a lot of comments about how we better call all of our hotels, otherwise, we probably won't have any place to stay. We contacted BringFido and every other reservation was perfect!

When arriving at the hotel, the staff did not know that I had a dog with me even though I received an email from BringFido a week or two earlier saying it was confirmed. Luckily, it wasn't an issue and we were given a room. The hotel is currently going through a renovation so you can see carpet being changed and a sign apologizing for any mess. It wasn't an issue for us as the renovations are needed. The room was basic but everything we needed for one night. The outdoor area was nice for night time potty breaks but not as nice as the pictures on the website show. Breakfast was disappointing with plastic wrapped sandwiches, muffins and yogurt. We chose this place since it was close to the Beaver Island Ferry Terminal and it met our needs as places were limited during the 4th of July holiday weekend for pet-friendly stays.

I was traveling with my husband, our toddler, and our Australian Shepherd, so we were excited to find a hotel that could accommodate us. We got a room with one queen bed at the last minute, and it was just right for our needs. The pet friendly rooms are located on the 1st floor, which made for easy access to the spacious courtyard where we took our Aussie to use the bathroom. The hotel provided poop bags at the door, and the garbage was conveniently located. The room had everything we needed, but was pretty small. The continental breakfast was a little lacking (just muffins, yogurt, and juice), but overall it was a good stay, and we’d be happy to stay there again if we were stopping through Charlevoix.

The front staff was so nice and very helpful when there was some trouble checking out. Room nice and clean.enjoyed the pool which was open and jacuzzi. There was a big back area for us to walk the dogs. Overall great experience

The hotel room was small. They were renovating and painting. We paint was in the walls and floor of our room. Smelled of wet paint and weed. Downgraded us to a smaller room even though I booked a suite with a queen bed. Staff did not wear masks and were not very friendly.

My husband and I and our dog, Clancy, enjoyed our stay here. The room was a little small but it was a very clean room and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They even have treats for the dog. Thank you!!

We stayed at this hotel because of its pet policy and we were not disappointed. The hotel was clean, in a good location and very pet friendly. Just be aware many of the restaurants with outdoor areas in Charlavoix are not pet friendly, it was a struggle to find a place that would allow our dog to sit with us at outdoor seating.
