Not dog friendly - Not people friendly
While staying here, confused about the pet policy - I accidentally violated one of the pet rules. After being threatened with immediate eviction, I talked with the person at the desk and smoothed things over. I found out that another guest in the hotel had complained of a wet dog smell (which was not coming from my dogs). The next day, while away from the hotel I was called and told that a guest had complained that my dogs were barking and in the hotel room by themselves - a violation of the pet policy. In fact the dogs were in my car with me at the time on the other side of town and had not been at the hotel all day. Clearly a guest at the hotel was not comfortable with dogs in the hotel period. Staff was EXTREMELY rude and beligerent. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again. The hallways had a musty/mildew smell which again raises the question how a guest smelled MY dogs through the door. The internet was only available a few times a day - and usually was two weak to connect and check email. I had to drive to the other side of town and use the internet at someone's house when I really needed to get online. Clearly this Days Inn was not only NOT Dog Friendly - it was NOT People friendly.
