Dogs were happy, but they have a lower standard than I do. Window would not close, temps dropped a bunch overnight, I could see the drapes blowing. TV sucked, a call to the desk got me a hang up. Twice. They need to finish the renovations, then renovate the people working there.

To give credit where credit is due, this hotel was under renovation. However, we arrived at 4pm to stand in line for 45 minutes just to check in. It took 3 people to get us checked in (mainly because there were many smoke breaks within this 45 minute period) only to find that the room we reserved was offline due to the renovation. They had to “find” us another room that was online. In addition to “finding” us an available room they were still turning rooms over from check outs in the morning!
Renovation aside, the entire hotel was filthy. Upon arriving to our room the bed was not finished, the carpet was filthy, the linens were in poor condition. We decided we were not staying in this hotel and contemplated driving home!
The customer service was extremely poor. None of the staff seemed to know how to operate their software. There was one woman who worked diligently, really tried hard at her job and didn’t take a cigarette break every 5 minutes. No one seemed to really know what was going on or which rooms were ready and available.
When we returned to the desk to express our concerns, explain the hotel was not as represented online and ask for a refund we were told that if we denied alternate accommodations at their location there would be no refund! We don’t expect a 5 star resort when traveling with dogs but the accommodations should at least be clean!
- More than a year agoWhat a nightmare
We booked this hotel for 2 nights and it was a complete nightmare. The hotel was filthy dirty and should be shut down or condemned. We only stayed the first night because we got in late and had no choice. The hotel smelled of smoke, wallpaper was peeling off of the walls, burn marks from smoking on the bedding, dirty towels, no front desk service, missing outlet plates on the outlets, and the fridge wasn't working. It smelled terrible. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. This hotel should be shut down.

Lack of grass. The little grass they did have was covered in other dogs poop. No designated area for dogs to use. Rooms are a bit outdated but overall clean and in well condition. Elevator is a little sketchy as it jumps sometimes. Very friendly to the dog. They allowed my 90lb German Shepherd at no additional cost. The breakfast was alright. Frozen omlettees, cereal, frozen sausage links. Muffins, waffle maker, and juice. Only wish they had a pool. Definitely not bad for the lower price. (Paid $302 for a Friday-sunday). Also a large pizza box will not fit in the mini fridge. I did come into town the same week as a dog show so the entire floor was booked with other dogs. Very quite. Had no problems. I would come back. Definitely worth the money. Should clean up dog droppings, but that could be just because of the dog show. I'm not sure. Also no doggie bags provided so bring your own. Also suites are not dog friendly. Only single rooms. Water was HOT! Water pressure was lacking (floor 3).

Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, and cashless payment is available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks. This property advises that guests without full COVID-19 vaccination must wear masks.
