  A bit damp and musty

  The service here was good and the clean was clean at the surface level. There was a musty smell, however, that triggered our allergies, and the sheets and towels were a bit damp. Walking the dog at night was a bit challenging because the grassy area was behind the building. Also, some guests propped the outside hallway door open after dark, which was a little scary. We removed the rock and closed the locked door.

  Wonderful People, Tired Room

  The people at the Quality Inn were very kind and helpful! We enjoyed the breakfast as well. The room however, while clean and with a comfortable bed, was dated and tired. It could use some updating and paint.

  Nice room, walkable grounds

  The Quality Inn at St. Ignace and BringFido were both extremely accommodating in helping me change a nonrefundable reservation. We'd certainly stay there again.

  Beautiful hotel

  Great location, looks like an old lodge in the winter. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Would definitely bring my dog back to this hotel.

  Mold

  The bathroom fan was inoperative and there was obvious mold and rust. Other rooms had inspection stickers attached but not room 125. We were informed when we checked in that there would be no housekeeping services. However, once we informed the issue to the front desk, I rather expected them to at least attempt to try and clean them all off while we were out. Otherwise it was clean, quiet and a nice room for us dogs. Breakfast was good - great Cinnamon rolls. Back door was jimmied open as in our previous Quality Inn.

  Nice room on end of hall, near exit. Many grassy areas, and dog spot with bin for bags. The walk was thru the woods, but didn’t go there. They have a large kennel available outside also.

  It was a good hotel with friendly staff. The room was big and clean. Breakfast was filling. Variety of food something for everyone. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Also close to gas stations and assorted restaurants nearby.

  Good Location

  Staff was friendly, room was good. My biggest gripe would be the pet fee was lots higher than other much nicer places that we stayed. Other places charged a general pet fee, whereas this place charged per pet per day. Most places don't do it this way. Also, there was no elevator and all pet rooms were on second floor.

  Tesla Charger!

  Very nice hotel - staff was very helpful and pointed out their electric vehicle charger which was awesome! Didn't know they had that. Would definitely stay again.

  Adequate for the price

  Friendly staff. Room was spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. I found the hotel and hallways a bit dark. Could use some brightening. I know it’s winter, but area for dog relief was non existent due to snow. Location is on a busy road with no sidewalks so it was difficult to find a place for my dog to go.

  The hotel was very close to the main town and the ferry to Mackinac Island.. Very convenient!

  Awesome spot, close to restaurants and tourist attractions. Nice dog run in back with waste bags and trash bin.

  Great little doggy grassy area

  This was a great little find for us and our pup!! She was very comfortable, the extra fee was only $10 and right out the back door was a great potty area with benches, bags, potty disposable bins and flowers !! Great little find in the road thanks to BringFido !!

  They were very accommodating for pets

  They have a dog area out back and got us on the first floor near the door to let out the dog. Rooms were good.

  Wonderful - would stay again

  great place...very clean, easy to get to and staff was wonderful. the ONLY thing that would make this better is if it had water views. breakfast and amenities were all fabulous.
