    Decent Green Space for Pups

Although I indicated 3 pets on my reservation form, I was informed on arrival that only 2 were permitted per room and that I would have to reserve another room for the additional pet. Which was unreasonable for a cat in a carrier and not acceptable at a rate of $170 BEFORE pet fees. However the clerk allowed my 3rd pet to stay in the room with us so for that they get 5 bones. The room was clean but small. The pool was unheated and in the basement. It is in the city. There is a decent green space for pups. Average stay overall but expensive for a La Quinta property and I was surprised about the 2 pet per room…usually La Quinta is more flexible than that.

Hot tub out of order, toilet broken

After checking in and unpacking we found out the toilet wouldn’t flush. Maintenance came quickly and eventually fixed it. Soon after we found out the hot tub was out of order. After calling the front desk, I was told that they told me that at check-in. We specifically booked a hotel with a hot tub- we had a lot of other less expensive options that didn’t have a hot tub. If I had known that when checking in, I would have immediately let them know we weren’t staying and we wouldn’t have unpacked all of our stuff. We spent two hours of our vacation repacking and loading up and finding another hotel with a hot tub and slide. They did however, agree to the refund so that was on the plus side. Which I’m still waiting for so cross my fingers!

    Best Dog Reception

La Quinta Mpls/Bloomington was a great experience for me and my dog. Great area for "relief," good area to walk, and great rooms available!!

    Not again

This stop wasn’t great compared with the rest of the many stays I’ve had driving cross country. The hotel is old and the parking area was bad. The other hotels next door are far nicer but don’t all accept dogs. I will avoid this hotel next time.

    Great trip with our pup

We stayed 2 nites. It was quiet. The hotel was clean and room was nice! The high speed elevator made our pup’s potty trips outside from the 6th floor very quick. I would highly recommend.

    Not bad

Appreciate they had no problem with my Coonhound. The grass areas were not cleaned up at all nor were their bags available to use (I always bring my own). Breakfast had little to nothing available. Room was clean but nothing in the room saying where can order food or anything about the hotel at all. It was our first time traveling with our pooch and wasn’t sure what to expect.

    All dogs welcome

I had no issues with arriving, checking in, walking in and out, and checking out with my pitbull. The room is comfortable, but stank of cheap floor cleaner which is difficult for me due to fragrance allergies. I wish the room was not carpeted so no need for the vacuum powder. Everyone is very friendly and the second floor is reserved for dogs. The biggest issue is that dogs have urinated on the floor near the elevators and in the halls. It's so bad the odor hits hard as soon as the elevators open, and then my dog had to sniff each spot as we walked to our room. If they start cleaning the carpeting, it will be a five-bone hotel.

    Well Done All Around

Our stay was very good with the exception of a rude guest who kept us up a good bit of the night. The staff was courteous and friendly, checking us in early. The only issue that we had was that we were unable to leave our dog in our room, which was very difficult as it was a warm weekend and we had concerns about leaving her in the car. We feel that "pet friendly" should mean that we might be able to leave our dog in a room, even if kenneled.

    Nice hotel for price

It is a busy place and construction going on in late Spring 2021 but it was easy to find. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast is grab and go due to COVID yet.

    Great value

Clean and modern rooms. Very welcoming to pets. Adequate pet relief areas. Sadly, no breakfast at the moment and in-room coffee maker was broken. Stayed 2 days and there was no room cleaning in between, but that didn't bother us for the price.

Hummmmm not a swell dog hotel

Room was clean and check in was easy. The desk chair was it for sitting in the room. But, after staying here, would not choose it again. Getting outside with my dog was a bit of a haul. Out the room door, down the 3 levels(for 1 floor) fire escape, cement steps to an exit door into a nook of the lobby and then down more steps to a door leading to a breezeway to the exterior door. We didn't have any accidents - but for an older dog or puppy, I wouldn't wait to long when they give you the signal they need out. And, even it we had waited for an elevator to go out, there was a bit of a hike to a grassy area, of which they didn't have much to choose from. Also, finding a place to walk my dog was impossible - it is an business "park" area with businesses, hotels and apartments next door. Not even sidewalks around.

    Great stay

We had 3 dogs and used BringFido's service to confirm with the hotel that being a dog over their stated limit worked perfectly; front desk had that information at hand when I checked in. No problems at all. We were put on the 2nd floor of the high-rise which was nice so we had the option of stairs for the dog that is afraid of elevators. All and all a great stay.

    La Quinta

It was great. Extremely quick check in, friendly and Welcoming front desk service, and the hotel room was very very clean!!! We had two dogs and they are bigger dogs so for there to be no problems with that was the best! We will be going back for sure!!!

    Solid hotel.

We stayed one night, had no issues navigating the construction even with a trailer (looks like it is almost done). Our pet room was on the third floor which is a little bit of a bummer, but they might not even have 1st floor rooms in the building. All “extra” amenities were closed due to covid - so no breakfast, but they did have a little convenience store on premise. Rooms were standard hotel fare and clean.

    Nice hotel

Nice hotel. Very clean room. In the age of Covid, I wiped my room down with Clorox wipes upon arrival, and there was almost no grime or dirt on the wipes.

    No issues.

Older hotel. Due to Covid, no breakfast buffet expected, but no bag breakfast or coffee in lobby unlike the other La Quinta's I used on my trip, as well as no pool or gym (expected.). Construction and road closed to get to the hotel, so was difficult to get to the hotel.

Perfect Location After A Long Drive

The bed has been the best so far on this road trip. The were great with our dog and we ordered Pizza from Dominoes and had it delivered. They literally delivered it to our room within 30 minutes. We were quite tired so this was a great bonus. Pet relief area was adequate and clean and they supply bags.

Not what I expected. On this app the hotel states well behaved dogs can be left alone in rooms. Upon arrival you ate required to sign a dogs cannot be left alone document. Was a bit disappointed as this is why I chose the hotel. Room was okay in size and apparently cleaned. Due to late arrival, Noticed the next morning the room was somewhat cleaned. Glow in the dark bands were under the bed. A wall was dirty with some type of splatter. Overall it was okay, just not what I expected.

    Very dog friendly

Nice room. Clean. Very comfortable for our dog and liked the bed and dresser are closed at the bottom so balls and toys could stay out easy for play time. Lot of dog friendly areas to walk outside and reasonably priced. Enjoyed our stay!

Noisey, dirty hall carpets and intersting guests there these days

the 2 ft 7 inch toilet ( floor to rim) about did it for me. Great if i were 12 less than 5ft tall and under 65 lbs'
